This trip took place during the rainy season, at the end of July this year.

The heavy rains during the long weekend prompted a group of girls to seek out a suitable destination for their outing. Given the inclement weather, they realized that finding an ideal location could be challenging. However, they recalled a specific place that was particularly well-suited for rainy season excursions.

"Thung Phel - Chanthaburi" is a fruit orchard area in Chanthaburi province. Notably, it features streams and waterfalls.

Last year, we stayed at Baan Pa Rim Tarn, but this year we couldn't book it in time, so we searched around and ended up here.

"Baan Suan Chanthaburi - Thung Phel" are located close to each other, which might be a good option for us.

Let's go on a trip ^^

We arrived in Chanthaburi early in the morning and decided to grab some seafood in Khlung before continuing our journey.

"The 'Pun Nim Farm' is accessible by following the map, which will lead you to the pier. From there, you will need to take the restaurant's boat to reach the dining platform. The outfit's pattern is quite eye-catching, even to ourselves. 555"

The weather is a bit cloudy, but it's pleasantly cool. The view is quite nice too. The driver of the other boat is speeding like crazy, I don't know where they're rushing to. But we're taking it easy, slowly cruising along.

The wild boars have arrived. They have successfully exited the cave.

It appears we are the first customers. The food was prepared very quickly and was very fresh. The atmosphere was also excellent.

They performed a ceremony before eating.

The taste of the food was decent, not particularly impressive, but the ingredients were noticeably fresh.

Quantity: A bit small, not very filling. Maybe I have a big stomach, haha. 5555

Price: Reasonable, not too expensive.

Atmosphere: 10/10/10. Absolutely loved it!

Giant Grouper Feeding Experience

This passage describes a unique experience offered at a restaurant: the chance to feed giant groupers.

Key points:

  • The restaurant offers a service where customers can purchase a bucket of fish for 20 baht and feed the giant groupers.
  • These groupers are massive, weighing over 100 kilograms each.
  • When they jump to snatch the food, they create a big splash.

In addition to the delicious food, the restaurant also offers a unique experience: feeding giant groupers. For just 20 baht, you can purchase a bucket of fish and head to the back of the restaurant. There, you'll encounter these enormous creatures, each weighing over 100 kilograms. As you toss the fish into the water, be prepared for a spectacular display as they leap and compete for the food, creating a shower of water with each jump.

With the local cat, I suspect it's here to eat fish too. Hehe.

I'm watching you.

Before heading back, we stopped by the Khlong Fresh Market to see if there were any fresh seafood to cook for dinner.

Mostly fish

When visiting Chanthaburi, don't miss the opportunity to try "Jay Phet Yen Ta Fo," a famous fish maw noodle soup. Even if you've just had a meal, you'll find yourself wanting more!

This place is always packed, but the wait is worth it because the mantis shrimp and crab are so delicious! A bowl for 100 baht is still a good deal. The fried tofu is also delicious.

After exploring and enjoying various culinary delights, we finally arrived at our accommodation to check in.

The accommodation fee at "Baan Suan Chan - Thung Phel" is 1,000 baht per person, including two meals (dinner and breakfast), barbecue equipment, cups, plates, ice throughout the night, and the highlight is a water slide (which is why I chose to stay here). However, I only played it once because I was afraid of dying. The water flow was very strong. 555

The environment is pleasant with plenty of trees. However, it was quite crowded during my visit, making it a bit chaotic.

The accommodations are diverse and clean.

We were unable to book a waterfront house in time, so we are staying in the Emerald room on the ground floor. It can accommodate 10 people.

The dinner prepared by the accommodation included stir-fried noodles, stir-fried pork with lemongrass, tom yum soup, and clear soup. The taste was decent. The stir-fried noodles and stir-fried pork with lemongrass were delicious. We also bought steamed crab from a seafood restaurant in Tha Chalap, which was incredibly delicious and fresh. The owner was very friendly. (We had lunch in Khlung on the same day, but it wasn't enough, so we had to have another dinner. 5555)

The only photo of the room's interior shows a lot of clutter. (I'm embarrassed, but I wanted to show you in case you're considering staying there.)

The main advantage of this location is the abundance of parking spaces, offering convenience and ease of access.

For breakfast before leaving, I had shrimp congee.

Goodbye, Thung Phlu. Let's go find something to eat in Chanthaburi city. 55555

We stumbled upon a cafe after browsing online reviews.

Latte Coffee House: A Delightful Oasis by the River

Nestled beside a tranquil river, Latte Coffee House offers a serene escape with its calming white tones. While the allure of riverside seating beckoned, a recent rain shower gently ushered us into the cozy interior. Despite initial reservations about the food, we were pleasantly surprised by the culinary delights that awaited.

The Pad Thai, a classic Thai dish, tantalized our taste buds with its vibrant flavors and perfectly balanced textures. The Yum Moo Yor, a spicy minced pork salad, delivered a delightful kick, leaving us wanting more. The refreshing beverages complemented the meal perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Our appetites, fueled by the delectable offerings, led us to indulge a bit too much, a testament to the restaurant's culinary prowess.

Okay, the food is now overflowing from my stomach to my throat. I'm rolling home now. 555

Initially, this trip wasn't planned to be so food-centric, but as you can see, things turned out differently.

Chanthaburi is truly a place with an abundance of attractions and delicious food. No matter how many times you visit, it never gets old.

Let's roll and travel together again next trip. :))
