This journey began with a flight to Chiang Mai International Airport, followed by a scenic drive to Ban Pa Bong Piang. We traveled along Highway 108, continuing onto the road leading up to Doi Inthanon. Turning right onto Highway 1009, we passed through checkpoints 1 and 2 of Doi Inthanon National Park. A left turn onto Highway 1192 towards Mae Chaem led us to a junction where we turned right towards Mae Pan Waterfall.

However, it was raining that day, so I didn't take my DSLR camera out to shoot. I only took photos with my iPhone X, so the atmosphere is a bit gloomy.
After that, we returned to "Mae Klang Luang Hill" homestay in Mae Klang Luang village, not far from the Inthanon Royal Agricultural Station. The atmosphere of the accommodation is as shown in the picture below. It is a small hut surrounded by lush rice fields. Our dinner that night was a hot pot, which was perfect for the cool weather here.
I forgot to mention that I came here with a photography trip. We will have a short photography workshop. In the morning, we will be taking pictures on the top of Doi Inthanon, specifically at the Ang Ka Nature Study Trail. The atmosphere will be a bit wet and cold, as it has been raining continuously.
After that, we returned to our mother's house in Mae Klang Luang again. We took pictures of the Karen woman from the Pga K'nyaw ethnic group, as shown in the picture.
After finishing our visit, we traveled back to Ban Pa Bong Piang. We planned to spend the night there at Baan Rabeang Na Homestay, which boasts stunning views of recently planted rice terraces. I ventured down to take some photos below, but the terrain was quite slippery, and I ended up falling. Thankfully, my camera remained unharmed.
Upon arrival, the accompanying team members arranged for models to pose for the trip participants, resulting in the images below. Shortly after, rain began to fall again, prompting the group to return to their accommodations.
After returning to the accommodation, I took a shower to wash off the mud that had accumulated on my body from the fall. Dinner was a simple affair, costing only a few hundred baht, but the view was priceless.
Afterward, we sat and talked until nightfall. There is no electricity here, so if you come to stay, you need to bring a power bank. However, the homestay provides battery charging services from solar cells, as well as lighting. After that, we rested as we pleased. Here, you can sleep 2-3 people per room. The weather is quite cool, but fortunately, there are no mosquitoes. When I woke up in the morning, I saw the sea of fog in the distance, so I thought I would walk to take a picture of the sea of fog there.
I walked quite a distance. The path was a small road, but it was very slippery. I followed the sea of fog until I reached the cornfield. It was a tiring walk, but it was worth it.
After that, we returned to our accommodation and had breakfast, as shown in the picture. It was simple, but the view was amazing.
After that, we took some more photos of the surroundings before heading back.
The trip was incredibly enjoyable, filled with laughter and immersion in nature. It was my first time visiting Ban Pa Bong Piang, and I had long desired to experience its beauty. Although the trip was mostly rainy, with no sunshine, it was a worthwhile experience. The stunning scenery, despite the weather, made it a memorable trip. I look forward to returning in the future.
