Today, I'm going to review a trip that's not far from home and only costs 7,280 baht. Anyone can fly!

The cost per person is definitely affordable.
- Budget airline tickets, AirAsia, promotional price, flying to Kuala Lumpur for 2,818.50 baht per person. Traveling during the Songkran festival, but I booked so far in advance that I almost forgot.
- Hotel in Malacca for 1 night (4-star) 800 baht per person.
- Hotel at Resort World Genting Highlands for 2 nights 1,062.11 baht per person.
- Food, taxi, bus from the airport to Malacca, from Malacca to Genting, and from Genting back to the airport, including entrance fees to tourist attractions, about 3,500 baht per person. I would say that the cost of living here is not high, and the food is about the same price as at home, so I can eat my fill every meal without breaking the bank.
In total, it's 7,280 baht per person. If you're planning a trip and have this much money, you can go! This doesn't include shopping, though. I don't want to say that most of the money I spent was on shopping for cheap stuff at Genting, which has many outlet stores.

Malacca and Genting Highlands. Let's start with a trip to Malacca City. Malacca City is a southern state in Malaysia, located on the Strait of Malacca, opposite the island of Sumatra. In the past, Malacca was a central trading city between the East and the West on the Strait of Malacca for more than 500 years. It has a unique architectural style that blends Portuguese, Dutch, and Malay art. It has been recognized as a historic city on the Strait of Malacca by UNESCO (data referenced from Wikipedia).
Malacca City is a city with a UNESCO-like atmosphere. The houses are still old buildings. It is a relatively safe city to visit because there are police officers stationed at various tourist attractions to ensure the safety of tourists. The famous food is the variety of satay, which can be dipped in the delicious giant hotpot sauce. If you go, don't miss it.

Genting Highlands, a magical land nestled atop a mountain peak accessible only by cable car, boasts a refreshingly cool climate that renders air conditioning superfluous even during the sweltering month of April. Situated in the state of Pahang, approximately 51 kilometers from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's capital, Genting Highlands perches at an altitude of 2,000 meters, ensuring a year-round embrace of cool temperatures and misty ambiance. Our accommodation, the First World Hotel, stands as the world's largest, seamlessly connected to the First World Plaza, an expansive indoor amusement park spanning 500,000 square feet and housing a myriad of shopping and dining options.
