Hello, readers!

This time, we're not venturing far for an adventure. Instead, we're taking a relaxing staycation at the Royel Phala Cliff Beach Hotel in Rayong province.

With a free day on our hands and nowhere specific in mind, we decided to find a quiet place near Bangkok with a sea view. The Royel Phala Cliff Beach fit the bill perfectly. We left Bangkok on a Friday evening and arrived in Rayong just as night fell, avoiding the late-night rush.

The hotel's location near Sattahip makes it easily accessible, with plenty of dining options nearby. You can even take a short trip to Pattaya for some sightseeing.

But enough chit-chat, let's dive into our exploration of the Royel Phala Cliff Beach!

As we arrived very late on the first day, we had to rest in order to wake up early the next morning. Waking up to the sound of the waves was truly amazing. After waking up early, we had to find something to eat because we were very hungry.

The communal highlight of this place is probably the swimming pool. You can swim while enjoying the view. It's a pity that the trees are a bit tall and the Panorama building is blocking the view. Otherwise, it would be a great infinity pool, as the pool is very long. I love it!

The breakfast room here offers both indoor and outdoor seating. However, on the day we visited, it was raining, so we had no choice but to eat inside the restaurant.

After breakfast, as we couldn't stay in the room all day, our travel companions invited us to find a cool cafe near Sattahip. So we went to hang out at Love Your Tree.

"This place is amazing! I love it! It's so green and the iced tea is delicious. The food is also great. Overall, it's fantastic!!

The photos are beautiful too.

Don't even ask about our plan for this trip. Seriously, we're so unplanned. We were driving here and I turned to my friend and asked,

'What are we even doing here?'
'What are we going to do tomorrow?'
'What are we going to eat today?'"

There is no real answer, everything that happened on the trip happened at the last minute.

After our coffee break, we returned to the hotel to relax by the pool, enjoying the view and taking a nap in the afternoon. I can't remember the last time I took an afternoon nap, but waking up with a headache was definitely not ideal. 555555

On our last day, we woke up naturally without an alarm clock, feeling truly refreshed. We lazed around in bed for a while, taking turns showering and admiring the cloudy seascape from our room. After packing our belongings, we prepared to check out. Before leaving, the hotel staff insisted we try their new menu item, which turned out to be absolutely delicious.

We sampled three dishes: razor clams in XO sauce, steak with gravy, and pork belly in curry sauce.

The most popular dish was the Pork Belly with curry sauce, which was incredibly delicious. The crispy pork belly and the flavorful sauce were a perfect combination. It's a must-try!

Our two-day, one-night lazy vacation has come to an end. The hotel is actually ideal for group seminars, as it has a large number of rooms and stunning views.

Stay tuned for our next Staycation adventure! :)
