Som Sak Coffee Shop
Before leaving the Phra Maha That Naphamethinidon, I glanced at my watch. There was still time to stop by one more place, Mae Klang Luang House, which became my final destination for the day before returning to my accommodation, Touch Star Resort. While there was still time on the clock face, the time from the sky seemed to be approaching rapidly, as the rain began to gather behind me.
Brother Samsak's coffee shop seems to be the first destination, as he not only went there to eat free bananas and coffee, but also to ask for someone to guide him to Pha Dok Siew Waterfall the next day. After meeting and talking, he found someone to take him there, and then drove around the mountain leisurely.
The rice terraces are not yet in full bloom, as the rice has just been planted and is not yet lush and green. It will take another two months for the fields to be fully green. In my opinion, there is not much to do in Mae Klang Luang besides taking photos of the rice terraces. Another interesting program would be a light hike to Pha Dok Siew Waterfall, also known as the "Love Waterfall" because it was featured in the RS film "Love" starring Film Ratchanok.
Stop by the cozy coffee shop.
Driving aimlessly, we stumbled upon the Aum Eib coffee shop, which offers both coffee and accommodation for tourists. Situated beside a year-round stream, we parked our car and explored the surroundings on foot. This stream flows through various areas of Ban Mae Klang Luang, serving as part of the 40-year-old mountain water supply project and cascading down from the upper spring or Rak Jang waterfall.

Lush green rice fields and tourist accommodation
Ascending the hill behind Mr. Somsak's shop, I encountered a grove of coffee trees cultivated by the locals. The enticing aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans wafted through the air, leading me to the Mae Klang Luang Hill Coffee shop. With its stunning location and breathtaking views, it was an irresistible stop after a tiring climb.

The rain has just stopped.
A small shop selling fabrics and woven machines owned by the grandmother.
Grandma also gave me passion fruit to eat with my coffee.
The rain clouds are gathering in the distance, it's time to head back to our accommodation.
