Day 4

🌸 Tha Pae Gate - Kru Ba Srivichai Monument - Wat Phra That Doi Suthep - Mon Cham - Mon Pha Khong - Wat Chet Yot - Lampang - Kad Kong Ta Walking Street

Waking up early, packing my belongings, and checking out of the accommodation, my first destination was Tha Pae Gate. Arriving early in the morning, there were not many people around, allowing me to take beautiful pictures.

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep

This translates to "Wat Phra That Doi Suthep," which is the name of a famous Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Note: I have removed the HTML tags from the translation as instructed.

After we've been blessed by worshipping the Buddha, let's find some food to fill our stomachs.

We'll eat at the temple. I'm an easygoing person, I can eat anything. I won't get cranky if I don't get to eat, haha.

Note: We originally planned to visit Doi Suthep and Khun Chang Kian, but due to heavy traffic and poor road conditions (narrow and full of potholes), we decided to prioritize safety and change our itinerary to Mon Cham instead. We will definitely try to reach our original destination in the future.

Mon Cham

Descending from Mon Cham, we stopped for a caffeine and dessert break at Mon Pha Khong. The view was quite beautiful.

After we're full, let's go pay respects at Wat Chedi Yot.

Wat Chedi Luang (Royal Temple)

Located in Chang Phuak Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province, Wat Chedi Luang is a magnificent temple with a rich history.

After paying respects and making offerings at the temple, we found ourselves with time to spare in the late afternoon. With no specific plans in mind, we decided to head back to Bangkok.

While scrolling through social media, we noticed a friend had checked in at Lampang. This sparked a change in our plans, and we decided to make a detour to this charming city.

The drive to Lampang was relatively short, and we arrived before sunset. After searching for a suitable accommodation, we settled on a guesthouse for 350 baht per night. The room was equipped with an ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, and hot water. While breakfast was not included, the guesthouse provided complimentary instant coffee and hot water. Additionally, it offered convenient parking and was within walking distance of the Kad Kong Ta Walking Street market.

We were thoroughly impressed with our accommodation and felt compelled to share our positive experience.

Day 5

🌸 **Wat Phra That Lampang Luang - Hug You Sheep Farm - Bangkok**

A must-visit in Lampang is the "Wat Phra That Lampang Luang".

We woke up early as usual to avoid the crowds.

The temple is truly beautiful and peaceful, living up to its reputation.
