Pai - Yun Lai Fog Sea - Santichon Village - Sai Ngam Hot Spring - Historic Bridge (Tha Pai) - Wat Chan - Wualai Walking Street - Overnight stay in Chiang Mai

😘

This morning, we set out to see the sea of fog at Yunlai Sea of Fog. Unfortunately, there was no sea of fog to be seen on the day we went. Perhaps it was because we woke up late? 5555.

Historical Bridge (Tha Phae)

The historic Tha Pai Bridge is located in Ban Tha Pai, Mae Hi Subdistrict, Pai District, Mae Hong Son Province.

After strolling and taking photos at Pai Bridge, we continued our journey to Chiang Mai. We took route 1265, passing through Kalyaniwattana district. We stopped to pay respects at Wat Chan and enjoyed a meal and coffee to recharge before continuing our journey.

Chan Temple

Located in Ban Chan Subdistrict, Kalyaniwattana District, Chiang Mai Province, the temple has a history of over 300 years. Its most notable feature is the "Black Glasses Vihara," which resembles a person wearing glasses. It also served as the temporary office of the Kalyaniwattana District Office during the initial phase of the district's establishment. Unfortunately, we didn't capture the other side of the vihara, so it doesn't appear as the "black glasses." Maybe next time! Haha.

WAT CHAN COFFEE

Stop for a caffeine boost before continuing the journey.

The scenery along the way was beautiful, I really liked it. However, it was strange that there were not many cars on this road.

After a long drive enjoying the scenery, we arrived in the heart of Chiang Mai city as night fell. We searched for accommodation, and with a variety of options available at different prices and styles, we opted for a place near the walking street market due to our late arrival and desire to rest. The name of the accommodation escapes me, but the cost for the night was

After taking a shower and resting for a while, I went out to find food at the walking street. "Wualai Road" has a wide variety of food and souvenirs.

The second episode concludes tonight on Cowherd Street. Stay tuned for the third episode, coming soon.
