"Hike to conquer the peak of Phu Langka and experience the sea of mist at Pha Chang Noi."
Greetings, friends! Today, we embark on a journey to conquer the summit of Phu Langka, towering at an altitude of 1,720 meters.
But don't worry, you won't have to walk far. 😁
You can rent a 4WD vehicle to reach the starting point of the hike, which is only about 800 meters away. This allows you to easily reach the top of the mountain and take stunning photos.
In addition to waking up to a million-dollar view from the Pha Chang Noi viewpoint, you can also witness the stunning sea of mist flowing through the valley below, with the backdrop of rolling hills and mountains that seem to have come straight out of a fairytale land.
#Things to know
- Phu Langka National Park is located in Pong District, Phayao Province. You can contact a 4WD vehicle to take you to the top of the mountain at the park for around 1,000 baht, which can accommodate about 10 people.
- Camping is available at Phu Langka National Park or Phu Langka Resort, both located approximately 27 kilometers apart.
- It is recommended to set up a tent at Phu Langka Resort and let the resort arrange transportation to the top of Phu Langka Mountain for convenience. This way, you can wake up early and walk from your tent to the Pha Chang Noi Sea of Mist viewpoint.
- During the winter, the weather is very cold, but you have to wake up early to see the fog. In the morning, the fog will be thick, but it will start to disappear in the afternoon when the sun comes out.
- If you have plans to visit Nan before, you can continue here. It's not far away.

#UnseenThailand
Let's start with the peak of Phu Langka. Wow, the scenery on the way to the viewpoint is already this beautiful. How stunning must it be at the top?
The road ahead requires a 4WD vehicle.
The starting point of the trail is approximately 800 meters from the summit. The total hiking time, including photo stops, is around one hour.
It works well, but it makes me breathless. 555
A view of the ground floor from the walkway.
The peak is at the end of that mountain.
Almost there! Look at everyone's condition. Haha.
We have reached the peak of Doi Phu Langka, standing at an impressive 1,720 meters above sea level.
It is recommended to visit in the evening when the sunset is spectacular.
The orange light bathed the peak of Phu Nom, the mountain opposite Doi Phu Langka, bringing a beautiful end to the day. However, it was time to descend quickly, as darkness would make the journey down difficult.
Greet the new day with the morning sunlight.
The view from this side is "Pha Chang Noi", with a beautiful thin layer of sea fog covering it.
This point is within walking distance of the tents at Phu Langka Resort.
Waking up to a million-dollar view like this brings an indescribable joy. Until next time, in my next review.
