Three Accommodations from Three Districts in Nan Province
This sentence describes three accommodations located in three different districts within Nan Province, Thailand.
Nan, a charming province with stunning scenery, offers a plethora of attractions across its various districts. During my recent trip, I explored several districts and stayed at three different accommodations over three nights. Here's a summary of my experience:
Mueang District
Simple and Short
Baan Naan Library & Guest Home
The first place is a charming accommodation that feels like home. It is a library, bookstore, cafe, and guesthouse with only a few rooms. There is a common area where guests can relax and read books. The accommodation does not have air conditioning, but only fans and a peaceful atmosphere, making it easy to fall asleep.
For small rooms, the bathroom is located outside.

The veranda provides a space for reading with a shared refrigerator and a kitchen available for use.

You can sit and read a book, or order a drink and enjoy it. If you want to buy books or souvenirs, there is a sales area.
The rooms are open every day, while the library and cafe are closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Pua District
Tub Na Homestay
Immersing in the Charm of Pua: Lush Rice Fields and Mountain Views
The allure of Pua lies in its verdant rice fields and picturesque mountain vistas. At Tub Na Homestay, you'll find yourself surrounded by stunning paddy landscapes, offering a perfect retreat for relaxation, photography, and breathing in the fresh, unpolluted air.
We are a group of 5 people and have booked two adjoining rooms, Chomna 1 and Chomna 2. We noticed that the two adjacent buildings also have rooftop terraces and balconies, offering stunning views of the rice fields, perfect for taking couple photos.
Our bedroom features an en-suite bathroom with all necessary amenities.

The four rooms located at the back are the Doi View Room, the End of the Field Room, the Huen Ka Room, and the Field View Room.

The view is amazing.

For dinner, we ordered a Khantoke set with our accommodation. It was very filling and delicious.

Bo Kluea District
Arpo de marng / Sea of Marng
Nestled amidst the mountains and shrouded in mist, Bo Kluea district is renowned for its rock salt production and mountain tourism. Along the Rim Maang Road, numerous accommodations are available for visitors. For this trip, we opted for Apo de Maang.

The tents will not have fans, only light bulbs. During the rainy season, it will be cool and comfortable.
This is a shared bathroom with shower facilities.
The dinner included in the accommodation booking is a barbecue set. However, if you are worried that you will not be full, you can order additional northern Thai dishes. We ordered one set in a tiffin carrier.

For breakfast, we will head to the dining room located upstairs near the entrance, allowing you to enjoy the view while you eat. The breakfast set includes fried eggs, ham, sausages, and rice porridge with various toppings. You are welcome to help yourself to drinks and fruits.
