The accommodation is approximately 400 meters from the Sa-moeng Tai Municipal Market. You will see an entrance arch adorned with blooming trumpet trees, indicating your arrival.

Lush greenery greets you from the moment you step inside.

Is this a dok gasalong or a dok beeb?

The young birds in this zone chirped loudly, showing off their voices.

No mistake, it has arrived.

This is a 'hlong khao', a traditional northern Thai rice barn that has been converted into a guesthouse. It can accommodate two guests. The flower bed in front will be continuously replanted with new flowers.

This is the top of the house.

Enjoy the breeze and the view from the room.

Underneath the house, there are tables and chairs for relaxing. If you want to chill even more, there are hammocks available.

The residential zone and the flower field are separated by this stream, which is the source of the running water we hear all the time.

This "Nong Khlang Na" can accommodate 2 people. They say this house is the most popular and is often booked before the others. Of course, we also want to stay in this house!

This "end-of-the-field hut" can accommodate 6 people and has a large balcony for group chilling. 555

Is it the same for you? On days when I have to go to work, I tend to wake up late. I've been waiting here since before the rooster woke up. 555

This 'Lhong Luang' serves as a multi-purpose space, suitable for meetings and various activities.

This pavilion is a must-visit. It offers comfortable seating, stunning views, and a refreshing breeze that will lull you to sleep.

The accommodation also provides bicycles for guests to enjoy.

This translates to: "This is how we chill."

In clusters

Inhale deeply, filling your lungs. Hold your breath for a few months, if possible.

So good!

Hot coffee in the middle of the rice field

A view from the coffee corner just now.

Lost in the beauty of the fields, I almost forgot to have breakfast.

- Accommodation: The back of the property is bordered by a long mountain range, while the front features a flower garden, followed by rice fields and a shorter mountain range. It's like being unexpectedly embraced by nature. Outsiders are not permitted to walk or take pictures on the property, which provides a high level of privacy. It's fantastic!

- Climate: The daytime temperature is similar to that of the city, but the nights are very cool. During the winter season, it gets very cold, as expected for the season.

- Travel: You can drive yourself at your own pace, either via Hang Dong-Samoeng or Mae Rim-Samoeng, depending on your itinerary. For this trip, we took a bus from the Warorot Market (Kad Luang) bus station in Chiang Mai. The yellow songthaews run along the Mae Rim-Samoeng route and cost 65 baht per person. How cool is that?

- Food: The accommodation offers breakfast, tea, and coffee.

  • Activities: Starting at dawn, guests can open their room doors and breathe in the fresh air while enjoying the morning mist. At 7:00 AM, monks will walk past the accommodation for alms. Guests can then cycle along the rice paddy bunds, relax in the pavilion in the middle of the rice field, and stargaze at night.

- In terms of the heart: Most of the accommodations do not have air conditioning or television, following the concept of the accommodation that wants us and Mr. to spend as much time as possible with nature. The first moment we arrived at the accommodation, our knees went weak. The view in front of us made us want to drop everything right then and there. We barely had time to adjust to the slow-life mode. Everything will be a little slower. The leaves are swaying, the sound of the water is flowing, and after ten o'clock at night, there is no noise, making the sound of crickets and cicadas clear. Lie down and watch the stars, accompanied by the sound of crickets and the sound of the stream. It is suitable for bringing your loved ones and family to immerse yourselves in nature. It's good, try it.
