Our trip utilized the Tokyo Metro for transportation.

The majority of our trip was spent exploring street food, as it was convenient, affordable, and easy. We used a daily pass for transportation and focused on trying different street food vendors rather than famous restaurants. We tried anything that looked appealing and shared our experiences with our friends. Our trip was all about enjoying ourselves and eating well, which is our usual style. If a restaurant had a long queue, we opted for another one, believing that there were plenty of other hidden gems to discover.

Japan is a dream destination that everyone should visit. From its delicious food and popular tourist attractions to its renowned cosmetics, beloved cartoons, relaxing onsen, and rich culture, Japan has captured our hearts for a long time. 👜

The advantage of planning your own trip is that you can visit the places you really want to see. Even though there may be many places to visit, the plan may be a bit tight. However, you can always adjust the plan according to the time and weather conditions at that time.

Day 1

By the time we arrived in Tokyo, it was already afternoon. After checking into our accommodation and putting away our belongings, it was early evening. We decided to start our culinary exploration right away. Our first stop was…

Isomaru Suisan Asakusa Kannondori
A seafood grill restaurant with a lively atmosphere, perfect for gatherings. The spacious restaurant offers comfortable seating, and tourists need not worry, as the restaurant provides iPads with English menus. Simply select your desired items with the accompanying images and wait for the staff to serve them to your table.

This renowned restaurant's must-try dish is

Kani (crab) miso, a crab paste that, when grilled until boiling, has a fragrant aroma and a slightly sweet, creamy taste. It is delicious.

🦑 Large, springy squid pieces

🐚 Large scallops

Then take a stroll through the Ueno district.

Take the cutest photos in the Purikura sticker booth! 📸✨

No matter how bald you are in the photo, you can still have a beautiful and clear face with big, round eyes. 💄👄
The sticker machine will have a cute template for us to follow, and we can choose the frame style, but there is a limited time to choose. If you are going to invite your boyfriend to take a picture with you, you have to be prepared to have a girlfriend in the picture instead. 55 After taking the picture, you can decorate it. You can add pink to your cheeks, add stickers, or write cute messages. 🦄

Stumbled upon this place by chance and had to stop in because the menu looked so delicious.

A refreshing dessert menu with red beans, barley, black glutinous rice, and grass jelly, topped with chilled fresh milk. The unsweetened fresh milk pairs perfectly with the red beans, creating a delightful and satisfying combination.

DAY 2

Visit the Asakusa district

Nakamise-dori Street, a shopping street leading to Sensō-ji Temple, offers a wide variety of goods, including snacks, souvenirs, and mementos.

Warabi mochi is a chewy, slightly sweet rice cake sprinkled with kinako powder, which is roasted and ground soybean powder. The sweetness of the kinako powder enhances the flavor of the mochi, making it a delicious treat.

Hungry already! Come find breakfast in the Asakusa temple area. Coordinates: https://goo.gl/maps/2hnwy2SQMFS2

🍙 Rice ball set with miso soup and pickles. It looks small, but it's actually very filling.

Before visiting the temple, we rented a yukata (kimono is also available) at KITSUKE STUDIO kimono rental.

The owner is very kind and lovely. They helped me choose the color of the dress, do my hair, select a flower hair accessory, and pick a beautiful cloth bag, all in a Japanese style. I rented the outfit at 1 pm and returned it at 5 pm. There are English-speaking staff, so don't worry about communication. They were very helpful and I highly recommend this shop. The staff gave me a lot of positive energy and the service was excellent.

Sensoji Temple, a magnificent and ancient temple, is a prominent tourist destination in Tokyo. Its iconic giant red lantern serves as a symbol of the temple. Inside, visitors can pay respects and pray to the enshrined Goddess of Mercy, Guanyin. A wide variety of lucky charms are also available for purchase.

The spring cleanses both body and soul (Zhou Xuya).

The sun has set, it's time for dinner. 555

Heijouen Asakusa Kaminarimon: A5 Wagyu Experience. While I typically avoid beef, the A5 Wagyu here was exceptional. The meat was fragrant, devoid of any unpleasant odor, and the marinade was incredibly flavorful.

Tender and flavorful, cooked over a charcoal grill. 🥩🥓

Day 3

Tokyo Disneyland, where dreams come true.

🎡 Disneyland, the land of happiness that reminds us of our beloved Disney friends from childhood, from the time we watched Snow White over and over again until the disc was scratched. 55 🤴👸
For those of us who love all Disney characters, whether it's Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pooh and friends, Disney princesses, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Toy Story, Monster Inc., etc. ♡
The period of our visit coincided with the special anniversary event, "Tokyo Disney Resort 35th 'Happiest Celebration!
and "Disney's Halloween" 🎃

Immerse yourself in every corner of this magical place, from the majestic castle to the enchanting streets. Visitors often adorn themselves with adorable Mickey Mouse ear headbands or bows, creating a whimsical atmosphere. Many even dress up as their favorite Disney characters, adding to the immersive experience. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

The parade was so moving, it almost brought tears to my eyes. Everyone was smiling and laughing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food and snacks were delicious, and the Disney-themed amusement park was a lot of fun, even though the wait times for the rides were a bit long. I took a lot of great photos, and the fireworks show at the end was truly unforgettable. It's an experience I'll never forget and would love to repeat someday.

After a long and tiring day exploring the city, we decided to end our day with a simple and delicious dinner in the Shibuya district. We opted for street food, specifically grilled meat and chicken with rice. The grilled meat was flavorful and aromatic, and it was perfectly complemented by the rice and our choice of beverage, either tea or cola. This meal was a great way to end our day, and we highly recommend it!

DAY 4 Embark on a culinary adventure at Tsukiji Fish Market, the world's largest seafood market. Explore a vast array of fresh seafood, dried goods, souvenirs, sweets, condiments, and diverse cuisines, with an abundance of restaurants to choose from.

Donburi and Uni

Day 5

Seeking convenient food options near our accommodation, we discovered a restaurant close to the Minowa Station subway stop. This will be a great pit stop before exploring the bustling city of Tokyo.

Spicy Japanese curry rice, but this is very easy to eat. 🍲

After a satisfying meal, we headed to Shinjuku to visit Oiwakedango, a traditional Japanese sweets shop. The mochi, a chewy and soft rice cake, was skewered and drizzled with a sweet sauce. We deeply regret not buying more, as it was incredibly delicious. The chewy texture of the mochi was particularly satisfying, especially the ones wrapped in seaweed. The seaweed added a savory aroma and perfectly complemented the sweetness of the mochi.

This restaurant is highly recommended, with affordable prices and a wide variety of delicious desserts, including Anmitsu, a traditional Japanese red bean dessert, and many other options.

Today was a relaxing day. I visited Thermae Yu, a comprehensive onsen spa in the heart of Shibuya. The facilities were clean, comfortable, and offered a variety of amenities, including saunas and a lounge. The price was reasonable, making it a great value for the experience.

Immersing oneself in an onsen is a must-do experience when visiting Japan. It offers much more than just a soak in water, providing relaxation, physical rejuvenation, and a sense of invigoration.

After leaving the onsen, it was time for dinner again. I was starving and decided to eat at the first restaurant I saw. I ended up at a Chinese restaurant with amazing food. I started with stir-fried squid, which was perfectly cooked and flavorful.

The stir-fried noodles are very fragrant and delicious.

Day 6

Is this the last day already? Oh no! Today was a very busy day for us. We woke up early to get to the airport on time and took some photos along the way to share with you.

Our style focuses on local food and street food. We try food at convenience stores, and if we see something we like, we eat it. We don't rely on reviews, and if we're hungry, we don't want to wait in line. We enjoy Japanese food, so everything we eat is delicious.
Overall, we love Japan very much and would like to come back again to explore places we haven't been to yet.

Today, we would like to say "Arigatou Gozaimasu".
