This trip is a continuation of our previous trip to Pua, Tha Wang Pha, and Nan. We took a Grab from our accommodation to Chang Phuak Bus Terminal, with the intention of staying at Mon Daen Noi Homestay, a beautiful homestay in Mae Daen Noi village, Galyani Vadhana district, Chiang Mai province, as recommended by many reviewers.
Travel
Catch a yellow songthaew (shared taxi) bound for Wat Chan in Khlong Khlung District at Chang Phuak Bus Terminal. Departures are at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, with a fare of 140 baht. For the return trip, departures are at 7:40 AM and 8:40 AM. Inform the driver to drop you off at "Jae Chi" shop in Mae Daeng Noi. All drivers are familiar with this location.
The first songthaew in the queue at 9:00 am was driven quickly and did not stop for long. It did not even stop at the designated stop in Samoeng, but instead stopped at a convenience store past the Samoeng market to allow passengers to use the restroom. We arrived at the home of Phi Ja (also known as Phi Pichit) before noon. We rested for a while at Phi Ja's restaurant, enjoying the view and having lunch.
A delicious lunch with a stunning view. The journey was well worth it.
After we were full, Ms. Jeaw Shi took us to two houses on stilts made of bamboo that were being repaired. We slept in a large wooden house with an ensuite bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets. Ms. Jeaw Shi told us that it would be cold at night.
From the balcony of the house, one can see the Mae Da Noi village. I intend to go down and explore a bit, and then my brother will take me to see the village's rice terraces.
The sentence is empty.
Let's explore the area around Big Sister Jeaw's house.
After resting and napping until they were no longer tired, they prepared to go play in the village. However, a heavy downpour began, making it impossible to go outside.
By the time the rain started, it was already evening. It was time for dinner, so we chose to sit at the same spot as before. The view was just as good as before, but the sun came out in the evening, making us feel a bit disappointed. 😆 But we decided to just relax and enjoy our vacation.
After dinner, I sat and talked with my older sister until it got dark. We then realized that the power had gone out during the rain. We continued talking by candlelight until evening, then returned to our bedrooms. Without electricity, there was no water in the bathroom, so I decided not to shower. I didn't smell bad, and I was alone, so I didn't have to worry about anyone else. After blowing out the candle, I wrapped myself in a blanket and went to sleep.
The next morning, the last day of our trip, we woke up to watch the mist from the balcony.
The view becomes much more beautiful when the light comes in.
Jeaw Cha walked over and invited us to the viewpoint of Ban Mae Daen Noi to see the mist. However, when we arrived, the mist was very thick and the wind was strong, making it cold.
After returning to the accommodation, we prepared for breakfast and had a brief discussion about tourist attractions. We then purchased another Karen shirt.
Before returning to the room to take a shower and pack, we took a short walk with the pets around Ms. Ja's house. Due to limited time, we could only play for a short while.
Stay at Mon Daen Noi Homestay with beautiful views, owned by Mr. Jea Shi. This village is 95% Buddhist and 5% Christian. The community's way of life is based on agriculture and weaving.

This trip, I must thank many people who reviewed Mon Daen Noi Homestay with a beautiful view. Thank you, P'Jeaw Chi, for taking good care of us. The food was delicious. I will definitely have to go back and bother you again many times.
