We've arrived in Chiang Mai in no time! It feels like we were just riding through the cold wind, and now we're here... at a relaxing accommodation amidst the pine forest, Doi Bo Luang Forest Park.
We started by renting a motorbike in Chiang Mai city, then drove along Highway 108 to Hod District. The ride was comfortable, allowing us to relax and enjoy the breeze. Upon reaching Hod, we stopped at the market for some food. It's worth noting that food options are limited at our accommodation, so it's advisable to stock up here.
After a refreshing break, we departed from Hod and turned towards Ob Luang National Park. The park entrance is approximately 18 kilometers from the market at the intersection. The road winds along the Mae Chaem River, offering a scenic drive through the shade of towering trees. Upon arrival at Ob Luang, we paid the 20 baht entrance fee. (The iced chocolate sold near the park entrance is highly recommended - delicious and affordable!)
From the National Park to Our Forest Cabin
After leaving the Ob Luang National Park, we continued our journey on a scooter for about 25 kilometers to our accommodation nestled amidst the pine forest. The ride was a visual feast, with lush greenery, towering trees, and cool, refreshing air. We soaked in the scenic beauty as we cruised along, reaching our destination in no time.
Just 10 kilometers before our cabin, we passed by the Bo Kaeo Pine Forest, adding another layer of natural charm to our journey.
And then we arrived at our destination, a pine forest in the middle of the forest. "Doi Bo Luang Forest Park, Forest Industry Organization" Chiang Mai Province, the weather is cool and comfortable, the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, shady under the pine trees.
