Dek Jew Chill Out @ Mercure Pattaya Ocean Resort and Pipo Pony Club

This time Dek Jew will take you to chill out at Pattaya.

Dek Jew will stay at the newly opened Mercure Pattaya Ocean Resort where there is a water park inside the resort. And then we will take you to the pony farm at Pipo Pony Club.

Mercure Pattaya Ocean Resort was just opened in November 2014 and it is located right next to Holiday Inn Pattaya. I would say Mercure Pattaya Ocean Resort offers exact same sea view as Holiday Inn Pattaya where we visited last year.

We have arrived to the resort in early afternoon on Saturday and found that there is a lot of people.

I guess the water park of the resort attracts them here especially the family with children.

Anyway, let's try their welcome drink to refreshing ourselves first!

Even though the room in this resort is pretty cheap, but I would say what we got like the room, the facilities, etc. are more than what we pay for which is amazing.

The lobby is quite spacious and well-designed. It is in bright color tone which give you the feeling of luxury.

The staff here are all friendly and helpful even they are very busy with too many guests.

We stay in Deluxe Ocean View room on the 9th floor room number 902.

We have got a Pattaya bay view and swimming pool view of Holiday Inn, how great!

We have noticed that there are only room number 901, 902, and 903 that are facing to the sea view like this and I guess it will be even more beautiful on the higher floor.

The bed is made out of 2 twin beds that's why it is even bigger than the King size bed and this is perfect for us three.

The room is not that big but fully equipped with everything like sofa and working desk for instance.

The bed is huge with nice seating area on the balcony and the room is well-decorated. The resort definitely offers best value for the money.

The bathroom has no bathtub, there is only a shower room. And the bathroom is see-through, therefore; you can see the bedroom and even the sea view or you can close the curtain if you need some privacy.

We have settled well and now it is a good time to go to the water park, let's go!

There are 2 zones of the swimming pools.

The first one is the regular swimming pool for adult on the 5th floor.

The second one is a small water park for children on the ground floor.

Even if it is chilly today and the water is pretty cold, the children still have a good time in this little water park including Dek Jew.

The water park is perfect for children with water slides and many more and the water is not deep at all.

The pool is deeper in this area for cliff jumping and taller water slide.

This yellow water slide doesn't look tall but once you try, it is pretty speedy and this is popular among older children.

There is also a life guard by the water park so parents can rely on children's safety.

It is difficult to get Dek Jew out of the water park but Mom and Dad have done it by asking ask Dek Jew to go to the adult main pool together. Once we are there we have found out that the water is very cold so we decide not to stay long.

It is the end of the day and this is the stunning sun set view from our balcony.

We are going to have dinner at Molten restaurant, the one and only restaurant in the resort where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served.

The restaurant is well-designed with nice color decoration.

We are having Salad, Pizza, and Fish & Chips for dinner.

I would say the food is average but they are all at reasonable price.

We take a walk around the resort after having dinner.

There is the M Lounge on the lobby floor where drinks and snacks can be ordered. And you can order them to be served by the pool during the day.

The new day has come and it is time for breakfast.

This is the breakfast buffet line at Molten restaurant. They have all basic breakfast stuff but not that variety.

You can refresh yourself by having breakfast outdoor by the pool too.

Dek Jew is very energetic to have breakfast in order to fill up the energy for the water park.

And the fun time begins again before checking out.

After checking out, we are going to have lunch at Preecha Seafood restaurant as Dad wanted.

This is our lunch.

Wow! The food is as good as last time, very delicious even we haven't been back to this restaurant for ages.

I guess we have made a wrong decision to go all the way to Jomtien Beach for Preecha Seafood restaurant because Pattaya always has a massive traffic jam. We arrive Pipo Pony Club quite late around 05.00 PM which they close at 06.00 PM and we miss the last show at 04.30 PM too.
