This trip takes you to Ayutthaya, following in the footsteps of Lisa. We will be staying at a premium homestay called One Dhatu Ayutthaya Premium Homestay.
This accommodation is highly recommended by Fern and Moo due to its prime location directly opposite Wat Mahathat and offering stunning views of Wat Ratchaburana from the room.
One Dhatu Ayutthaya Premium Homestay offers only four guest rooms, each decorated in a unique Thai architectural style. The rooms feature over 11 replica Thai pillars, a hallmark of Thai architecture for centuries. Each room has a different layout and can accommodate between two and four guests.
Bodhi Leaves Junior Suite: A Spacious Retreat with Stunning Views
The Bodhi Leaves Junior Suite, our accommodation for this stay, is situated on the second floor and offers ample space. The suite is thoughtfully divided into a sleeping area and a living space, both boasting 180-degree views of the majestic Wat Mahathat temple.
The interior features a workspace and a bathroom with a jacuzzi for relaxation.
The Lotus Junior Suite is another popular room type. The layout is similar to the room I stayed in, but the living area is larger and offers better views.
Accompanied by a chair for sitting by the window
Another room that we would like to recommend is the Royal Suite. This room is suitable for those who prefer a spacious living area, as it features a seating area with cushions, both indoors and with a glass view. The bed offers a delightful view.
For those who are staying in a group or family, the Quad Suite is recommended. It has separate beds.
The interior features a spacious and easily accessible dressing room located on the first floor.
Guests also have the opportunity to enjoy the onsen, a service offered by the homestay. This service is available to non-guests as well.
In the afternoon, visitors can take a leisurely stroll and capture photographs at the Maha That Temple. The area surrounding the temple boasts a plethora of restaurants and cafes, offering a diverse selection of culinary delights. These establishments are conveniently located within walking distance, making them easily accessible to visitors.
Breakfast is served as a set to the room, with one set including bread, yogurt, sticky rice with grilled pork, rice porridge, and fruit juice. This is sure to fill you up and provide a beautiful backdrop for photos.
If you're feeling bored lately, consider a trip to Ayutthaya! Stay in a modern Thai-style homestay, visit temples for good fortune, and enjoy delicious local cuisine. Even a 2-day, 1-night trip can provide a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.
