Hi there. This issue of Tamkarnwela will bring you to celebrate 5th anniversary of Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong with theme of Grand Buffet with 5 international chefs including Thai, Chinese, Indian, Maxican and Spanish. The event is available only for dinner of Sunday to Thursday, May to June.



The food in varies in International Buffet style plus 5 special dishes by 5 chefs. Let's see the menu (The menu is changed day by day).

Flavors restaurant is full with guests all day because it offers all-day meal including Sunday Brunch as well.


Where shall we sit.

Let's check on food line. This place provides international buffet including western, Japanese, Thai and Chinese. Since this is special occasion ,it offers even more dishes.



Thai food by chef Chatpong.

"Papaya Salad" which you can choose to do by yourself or request staff to do.



"Steamed Glass Noodles with Crab" I personally like this dish. You can grab as much as you want because normally restaurant provide glass noodles more than shrimp or crab.


"Red Duck Curry" with mellow taste. The duck should be from Chinese cuisine.


"Steamed Fish with Lime and Chili Sauce"


"Chili Sauce with Fresh Vegetables"


Chinese food by chef Leung.


Highlight menu is "Grilled Duck and Roasted Red Pork".


Mexican food by chef Gustavo.

You can order Tacos.



Salsa can cut the grease pretty well. It is also refreshing.


This Roasted Beef is placed between Spanish and Mexican line. I'm not sure which one it is.


Spanish food by chef Jose.


When you see this grilled pork, don't hurriedly judge it is Chinese food ... Barbecued Suckling-Pig. It is actually "Spanish Grilled Pork". The meat is soft inside and crisp outside.


You can order "Foie Gras" at station. Personally I like Foie Gras of this hotel. It is fried at suitable temperature making it slightly crisp outside but still tender inside.


"Traditional Seafood Stew"

"Fresh Barramundi Tandoori"

"Parma Ham" My favorite dish but slightly too salty.

"Focaccia" is a famous Italian flat bread. Mostly consume with main dish.


Using it to make sandwich or pizza i a wonderful idea.



May I call this "Healthy Corner".


All kinds of appetizers.


No.5 is everywhere.


If I eat it, would be full.


Pasta corner.


Can tell the staff what you would like to have.


Elegant seafood corner.


Everything is very fresh.


Especially shrimps.


Crab is continuously refilled.

Let's see what I choose. Steamed Glass Noodles with Crab is superb. I personally like this menu.


Thai style food wrapped in leaves.


Fresh seafood.


Spanish Grilled Pork, the peel is very crispy.


Looking from the meat, not greasy.


Roasted Beef in beautiful color.


I don't miss Grilled Duck and Red Pork for sure.


I admit that I'm not an expert in Indian food.


Mixed international food plus Tacos.


I taste little of each dish. And end with melon and Parma Ham.


Then we unwrap shrimp from a heap of seafood and ask staff to stir fried with spaghetti, chili and garlic.

Try special cocktail of the month (not included in buffet).


The first on is "Peach Vodka with Pineapple Juice" at 220++ THB.



This one I can't really remember the name but I like more than the previous glass, haha.

So, this is the end of my review of Grand Buffet. I don't photograph everything in buffet line but hope it is enough to be a guideline for those who are interested. The promotion is valid until end of June; 1590++ THB per person. If you are holding any Citibank cards, you will get pay 1 for 2 persons, available until end of June.
