Sometimes, we may not want to take an adventure or busy trip. So, let's look for something nearby. You may find out that there's still a slow life travelling at some places in Bangkok.

First of all, I have to tell you that I really love travelling and I can travel in many styles. But, one thing I have never done before is travelling in " the city". I always have a question that..in our everyday life, we live in the busy city already, why do we have to spend our trip in that crowded place again?.

For this time, I had a chance to slow down my life at the Prince Palace Hotel. At first I thought..oh it's in the city centre, how it's going to be???? but I will try...

12.00 pm. straight to the floor 10th of Boe Bae Tower, which is the entrance of the Prince Palace Hotel

Most of the guests are foreigners including many backpackers

Among many guys...wow

While waiting for check-in, I saw a very nice view, it's amazing !!

(my sister was taking photos, I would have been so sad if she didn't take that nice picture)

We both love taking photos, and started to think that we would have many spots for our photo taking and hundreds of them back home

Each of us took 2 photos and then went straight to our room

And it's really the hotel's kindness, they gave us an Executive Suite

( how my sweet life would be...)

What a good life!!

Such a lovely room

Not only the lovely room, but the view is so amazing. You can see many landmarks of Bangkok, like what hotel said that they are in the area of old capital.

13.30 hr @ Prince Cafe, let's go!!!!

There are both Thai and international buffet, and variety of seafood. But..what I'm really impressed is those desserts. It's so nice!!

15.00 hr @ Coconut Pool Bar & Sunset Beer Garden

I just really want to tell you that...My feeling is like...I already forgot that we were actually in the city centre.

While sitting there, I thought that we might actually live in another world. That's because it's full of chaos down there.

But where we are at the moment, it's so cool. Don't wait...let's jump into the water!! (a bomb or sea cow?) lol

They told us that the pool is 1.5 meters deep.....no problem for me

But, I forgot that I'm only 1.6 meters high. So I had to hold the pool edge.

After taking my time at the pool in the evening, we then went to Khaosan Road.

I was imagining that I was like an American teen travelling like foreign tourists. It's 60 baht by taxi to reach there.

At Khaosan Road, most tourists are foreigners.

The next picture, I swear the focus is on background not foreground...believe me or not !!!???

(but....oh my god he is so handsome) lol.

There are many bars, restaurants and shops on both sides of the road for your relaxing time.

12.30 am, Good night Bangkok.

7.00 hr, good morning Bangkok, starting my slow life day. What a good life....

After having a slow life in my room for a while, it's time to fulfil my stomach.

8.30 hr at Prince Cafe

Breakfast buffet which includes in the package.

There are variety of food for your breakfast. Even though I came quite late, there were still plenty of food available.

But what's really impressive is the way they serve coffee.

They serve coffee and milk separately. It's this little detail that I feel they really pay attention to their customers^^

After a very full breakfast, it's time to digest^^

My goal today is to walk and take some photos, with no specific purpose.

I decided to go to the opposite of Boe Bae market.

It's where we will see Phadung Khasem canal.

9.15 hr @ Phadung Khasem canal.

After that, crossed the bridge and let's see what I would find out. GO!!!!

9.30 hr @ a small community in Bangkok (Klong Som Poi community)

And this is Klong Som Poi community. In my point of view, this is a small community in this big city.

It's like we are seeing another world. If you continue walking, I think this is another good choice for those who love the "Street" photo taking. And for me who love photo taking, that's a lot of fun......

Sometimes, there is no right or wrong answer, no specific pattern in travelling. Those places might not be that popular, or no impressive historical story behind. But, let's try....travelling without any expectation. Who knows? You might discover some new things in your life.

After the photo taking, it's lunch time. The Prince Palace Hotel was so kind, I had a chance to have my lunch at the Chinese restaurant called China Palace.

We have already seen the amazing view, let's see how nice the food is!!

How about the taste?? guess.....

For me, travelling this time has opened my new perspective that.... sometimes we don't really need to adventure or plan many steps. You may try spending and enjoying your day at a slower pace and that will let you discover new experience.
