" Koh Sichang" 2 days & 1 night around the island

Koh Sichang is a small island that offers more than just a sea. You can even roam around in a day but this trip I go for a 2 days and a night trip. Koh Sichang is a smallest district in Thailand. It is located in Chonburi province which is 100++ km from Bangkok. To get here, you can either take a van or a private car which you can park near the pier. From the pier, it takes only 45 minutes to reach the island.... On the island, there's a scooter for rent, it is 300 THB a day. There's also a Skylab bus and Song Taew where the fare depends on where we go..... For this 2 days and 1 night trip, we roam around on a scooter. We didn't get to go to every spot on the island as sometimes I ride my scooter alone so I might not cover every spot on the island.

>> Chao Pho Khao Yai Shrine and Guanyin Bodhisattva Shrine offers a free tram ride and we can make a contribution to the fare by donation. Up there, we can pay homage to several sacred things. And what must not miss is viewpoint showing a clear view of the entire village and the pier.

>> Chong Khao Khad or Chong Itsariyaphon which is located on the back of the island. When taking a boat, we can oversee this hill too. There's a bridge for us to enjoy the atmosphere around and more importantly, it's a beautiful spot to watch the sunset.

>> Phra Chuthathut Palace (Tha Wang) is the only palace located on the island in Thailand. And most importantly, coming to Sichang, we must come take photos with Atsadang Bridge. It is a white wooden bridge stretching into the sea (my cover photo, if you come in late morning, the sun is very strong but the sky is very beautiful too).

>> Tham Phang Beach is the only beach that we can swim. The water is super crystal clear but we have to be careful about rocks. There're loads of rocks where you could get hurt. Anyhow, there's a designated area for swimming.

For the hotel, we are staying at DE’ ANCHOR. It is a chick, by the sea hotel that just newly opened. Some rooms are next to the sea. Even some rooms are not physically by the sea, you do get a sea view...... The price starts at 3,000 THB including breakfast and pick-up service from the pier. You may ask for more information in case there's a promotional price. Each room can accommodate 2 people. To book the room, please contact: 061-6456888 https://www.facebook.com/deanchorkohsichang/

We left Bangkok late morning and drive to park near the pier. During the holiday, it'd be a bit difficult to find a parking lot but after a few turns of looking around, you will get one.....After parking, we drag our baggage to board the boat. The boat fare is 50 THB each and it'd take about 45 minutes to reach Koh Sichang. Once we reach the pier, the hotel pick-up service van is already waiting for us there.

It takes only 5 minutes from the pier to reach our hotel....DE’ ANCHOR, a chick, by the sea hotel that just newly opened. Some rooms are next to the sea. Even some rooms are not literally by the sea, you do get a sea view...... The price starts at 3,000 THB including breakfast and pick-up service from the pier. You may ask for more information in case there's a promotional price. Each room can accommodate 2 people. To book the room, please contact: 061-6456888 https://www.facebook.com/deanchorkohsichang/

The hotel is right by the sea, although some rooms might not physically by the sea, every room comes with a sea view scenery.

The restaurant zone of the hotel and the nearby is a small swimming pool.

The walkway inside the hotel....

Our room tonight...Though not literally by the sea, we have a sea view anyway....

Breakfast from the hotel...

Breakfast and dinner corner...

We reach the hotel in the afternoon.... After checking in, we ask a tricycle (a Rickshaw) to be our ride today. The first stop is Pa Noi Seafood which is a famous restaurant here. The taste is great, the price is economic and only a few km away from our hotel.... I have to say that coming to Sichang, you must come to this restaurant!!!!!

Phra Chuthathut Palace (Tha Wang) is the only palace located on the island in Thailand. And most importantly, coming to Sichang, we must come take photos with Atsadang Bridge. It is a white wooden bridge stretching into the sea (my cover photo, if you come in late morning, it'd be very sunny but with a very beautiful sky). *** Since we arrive here the late evening, the sky is not that beautiful anymore. We come back here again on our scooter the next morning****

There's a cafe service inside the palace too. The price is reasonable and comes with great atmosphere near the sea.

Tham Phang Beach is the only beach that we can swim. The water is super crystal clear but we have to be careful about rocks. There're loads of rocks where you could get hurt. Anyhow, there's a designated area for swimming. There's also several seafood restaurants and seats available right on the beach.

Chao Pho Khao Yao Shrine and Guanyin Bodhisattva Shrine offers a free ride up where you can contribute by making some donation. Up there, you can pay respect to several sacred things. And what must not miss is the view point where you can clearly have a whole view of a village and a pier.

A viewpoint up here is where you can clearly have a view of a village and a pier.

Chong Khao Khad or Chong Itsariyaphon is located on the back of the island. When taking a boat, you can oversee this hill. There's also a bridge for us to enjoy the surrounding atmosphere. It is considered a very beautiful spot to watch the sunset.
