Greeting to all! We would like to take you attention to the review of interesting attractions in Krabi. There are many attractions such as mountain, sea, waterfall etc. Since we have mostly mentioned about the sea in our previous reviews. Hence, we want to change to the topic review to be forest in order to learn more about natural resource. We would like to jump into the river like we did when we were childhood. Thus, we have planned and decided to go to
Tha Pom Klong Song Nam
in Ban Khao Kram, Muang District, Krabi Province
Tha Pom Klong Song Nam is located in Tambon Khao Kram, Muang District, Krabi Province. It is under authorization of Tambon Khao Kram municipality. Tha Pom Klong Song Nam is enriched with natural diversity. Furthermore, you can also discover some animals that are almost extinct over here too.
The bridge is made from wood along the way till the point that is allowed for playing water. Unfortunately, there is only 1 point that is allowed for playing water, it seems not enough because there are many tourists.
We just notice the real meaning of "Klong Song Nam", this name is given because freshwater has become brackish water once it is mixed with sea water. In other words, this river has water with 2 tastes.
How to get there: You need to drive the car by using the main road no. 4 from Krabi downtown heading to direction to Ao Luek district, it takes around 23 kms. Once, you reach Ban Thung, you will notice the sign indicating the way to Tha Pom Klong Song Nam and continue driving for 5 kms. Then, you will see the parking area.

As mentioned earlier, the pavement is made from wood.
The sun light has flashed on the surface of water and it reflects the emerald color. This river is originated from limestone mountain with lots of Calcium Carbonate which is the main substance that entraps sediment to be sunk into the bottom of water. This makes water become crystal clear, it is so amazing.
It is really beautiful and we could not resist ourselves from taking many photos of this place.
