This biking trip is 3 days 3 places which I decide to write it into to part. This is about the first day of the trip where we go to Purakm...
Part 1: The beginning of the journey
This trip is suitable for mountain bike. The person should have knowledge about changing gear because the route is quite up and down.
During a long holiday, our family starts our biking trip to Baan Purakam where people named as Pai of the Central (Pai is another tourist attraction places in the Northern Part of Thailand). Baan Purakam is located at Suan Phueng District and not too far from Bangkok. The atmosphere is as you can see in the photos>>>
From Bangkok, we are heading to Baan Heuy Muang and stop by at the grocery shop for parking our car, assemble our bike and plan our route.
The route from Baan Heuy Muang to Baan Purakam is about 10 KM.
The road is cement road and mostly we have to go up and down the hill around 2 KM.
Oh..My little girl seems very tired with her red cheek but she never give up.
And here is the end of the cement road but both sides are still very nice.
Another 2 KM. of non-asphalt road and we continue on asphalt road for 5 KM. Then we stop by the grocery shop for some water. This is already half way of the route on GPS.
The atmosphere during our biking trip through the village and there is light rain during the way.
Say hi to the officers at the check point and continue biking to Purakam.
We need to use our skills of changing gear and body balance because the hill is quite high and not flat. For children quite difficult because cannot resist gravity.
So...it come out this way >>> -_-!
Get some techniques from Uncle Wut and it is time to go down the hill...
No more scary ... Yahoo!!!!
It is easy when go down the hill but we have to carry our bike when go up on the hill.
Together we can do it...
Hurry boy - girl, up here is very beautiful....
This corner is really beautiful which you have to see for yourself.
At the intersection, there is a short cut to Baan Purakam if we turn left. But due to the road is quite difficult to pass especially for children. So we decide to turn right and go down the hill and pass through small canals and dam. Then we arrive to Baan Purakam School....
From this point we only have 2 km. left to arrive to Baan Purakam School.
Passing the first canal
The second canal
Finally, we are here at Baan Purakam School....
The place that has never evaporate and very beautiful that's why we call it "Pai of the Central". Children are having so much fun in the water.
Oh..no, they do not want to come up.
So daddy has to bike back to get a car and come to pick us up at the dam that we passed.
Waiting for daddy to pick up at the dam and heading to Baan Rai Sai Ngam Homestay.
Happy ending for today, see you on the second part which is also very interesting^^
