Hello everyone, today I'm here to share my super high-society experience with a super cool topic: Shaking off the wings of poverty and flying Business class for the first time in my life!

I've been curious about flying Business class since I was a kid. I wondered what was so good about it and why it was 3-4 times more expensive than an Economy ticket. I always thought that unless the company paid for it on a business trip or I won a lottery, I would never fly Business class. **Who would be crazy enough to fly when it's that expensive?** When I found out that I would be flying Business class, I was very excited and decided to write about it from the perspective of someone who had never flown Business class before, comparing it to flying Economy. Is it good? Is it worth it? You decide for yourself.

Note: I flew Business Class on all 3 flights, and each aircraft had a different seat layout.

Barcelona-Doha BCN-DOH QR140 3:45 PM – 11:05 PM Airbus A330-200 (Business)
Doha-Bangkok DOH-BKK QR836 1:50 AM – 12:40 PM Airbus A380-800 (Business)

Let's talk about the airline we'll be reviewing today.

Qatar Airways has consistently been ranked among the top 5 airlines in the world in recent years, and she was also recently awarded the World's Best Airline in 2015 by SKYTRAX.

– Qatar Airways operates on a hub-and-spoke model, meaning all flights worldwide connect through their central hub at Doha's Hamad International Airport. For example, a flight from Bangkok to Madrid would follow the route Bangkok-Doha-Madrid. Similarly, the return flight would be Madrid-Doha-Bangkok. In other words, there are no direct flights.

The advantages of not flying direct that I like are ... cheap and not tiring. The price is usually cheaper than a direct flight, and besides, the two-round flight time is good because we only fly for 6-7 hours at a time and then get off to walk around. We also get to eat two meals. I once flew directly to Germany for 11 and a half hours, which was very tiring. I slept, woke up, slept, and even did yoga to relieve the fatigue on the plane, but it still didn't arrive.

Disadvantages Longer flight time, the total flight time will be about 3 hours longer than a direct flight. Okay, I've talked for too long, let's get started.

**Check in without queuing**

The check-in process was unlike any I've experienced on a regular flight. There was a special lane for Business Class passengers. This was the first perk I received, no need to wait in long queues with the rest of the passengers. I could just walk up and check in, feeling stylish and sophisticated.

The bag is heavier than

For Qatar Airways, Business class passengers can check in 40 kilograms of luggage, while Economy class passengers can check in 30 kilograms. The difference is small.

VIP Immigration Clearance

Upon check-in, the staff will provide you with a Premium lane card. Normally, when we board a plane, we have to go through immigration and security checks, which can take a very long time. Sometimes it can take up to an hour! However, with this card, you can access a special lane with very few people, making the process much faster.

Regular people, please use the escalator. For those who are rich and have a Premium lane card, please turn left below.

Lounge access is available.

After going through all the checks, what do ordinary people do? Well, they just sit and wait. If they're hungry, they go find something to eat at the airport shops, right? But for Business class passengers, there's a special privilege: they get to use the lounge. Inside the lounge, there's a wide variety of food and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to choose from. You can eat your fill before you even get on the plane.

Board first

First Class passengers are given priority boarding, followed by Business Class passengers, and then Economy Class passengers.

Serve water from the time you board the plane

Normally, when I fly Economy, we don't receive any service until the plane reaches a certain altitude, which takes about 30 minutes. But for Business, as soon as you board the plane, the staff will come and introduce themselves, asking, 'What would you like to drink?' and 'Would you like a hot towel or a cold towel?'

Super comfortable to sit and sleep

The seats are very wide and comfortable, with adjustable features for all parts of the body. They can even be reclined to a flat 180-degree position.

Good food, choose what you want, eat whenever you want

Once you're on board, the usual Economy meal options are limited to "Fish or chicken," right? Here, you have a menu to order from. You can order whatever you want, as many dishes as you want. And the food is served on demand, so if you're hungry later, you can order it then. If you want to come up and sleep for another 3 hours before eating, you can. If you're in Economy, if you don't eat now, you'll miss out.

A menu of your choice, what you want to eat, what you want to drink, salad or dessert, let's go.

There were also alcoholic beverages, which I'm not a fan of and didn't order. I skimmed through the menu and saw that some bottles cost over 5,000 baht. Some people even drank until they were drunk, haha.

After arriving in Doha on the first flight, we will take you to see the future world. This Business Class lounge is called Al Mourjan Business Lounge and the airport is Hamad International Airport, the new airport of Qatar. It is very luxurious and high-class. My friends from Malaysia and Singapore, who were already impressed by the luxury of their airports, were speechless when they saw this one. I think this is clearly the future world.

This swimming pool is part of a hotel that is located inside the airport!! You read that right, a hotel inside the airport. How cool is that?

Cut to Flight BCN-DOH QR140 15.45 - 23.05 hrs. This time I was on an Airbus A330-200 (Business).

The seats will be arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration, with passengers sitting in pairs.

I tried sitting and stretching my legs. I'm 174 cm tall and there was still room left after stretching my legs. It was really comfortable.

Let's see the perspective of a passenger. A good life, watching movies, sipping tea, it's so enjoyable.

The headphone section is a full-size over-ear type with very good sound quality. The left and right channels are clearly separated, and the bass is full, making movies enjoyable. It also has excellent noise cancellation, so there is no noise at all.

And my last flight before falling from grace was on a plane that many people dream of flying on, the Airbus A380.

Doha-Bangkok DOH-BKK QR836 1:50 AM – 12:40 PM Airbus A380-800 (Business)

The layout of the seats will be in accordance with the characteristics of the new aircraft model, which is 1-1-1-1. The seats will be slightly staggered, which is a solution to the previous disadvantage of the 2-2-2 layout, where the flight attendants had to step over the heads of the outside passengers to serve them. Therefore, they have adjusted the layout.

The seats are slightly tilted to allow for more stacking, but they are still comfortable to sit on. See the next picture for a better view.

Let me show you my seat.

I tried sitting and stretching, and it still feels as comfortable as before. It's no different from the old chair arrangement. At first, I thought it wouldn't be as comfortable to stretch as the old one.

For personal use, there will be a separation between men and women, and the items will be provided according to the passenger's gender. Let's see what's available for men.

– Socks

– Blindfold

- Lip balm

  • Dental floss

- Armani face wash

  • Armani Acqua di Gio perfume

The gifts were so good that I almost couldn't take them all home, especially the Armani acqua di gio perfume. I went to smell it several times, I love it so much.

For late-night flights, there will be pajamas to change into. I must say that I want to take them home to wear because the fabric is so soft. I don't know if they let you take them home. If anyone knows, please let me know. (I've got the answer now, you can take them home.)

When I told my mother about this, she couldn't imagine how a chair like that could lie down at 180 degrees, so I brought it to her to see.

When you press the button on the bed, the footrest will extend and the backrest will recline to 180 degrees. It's very comfortable to lie down.

The meal begins with a starter, which is served by the staff who will set the table and arrange the food beautifully, just like when you eat at a restaurant.

Main course I think the main course is chicken breast steak, something like that. I don't remember the name.

To top it off with a sweet treat, there was a chocolate from a certain brand that was absolutely delicious.

If you ask why people want to try flying Business class A380, it's because it's special because it has a lounge on board. If you're asking if I drank, I'll tell you that I didn't. I didn't use the service. After I finished taking pictures of the plane, I slept for a long time because I was tired from sightseeing.

Summary

. In my personal opinion, based on my experience, I think that paying for Business class is not as pointless as I used to think. The experience and comfort are completely different. Right now, I definitely can't afford to fly Business class myself, but in the future when I have enough income, I will definitely not put up with Economy class.

Before I finish my review, I would like to thank the generous sponsors, Qatar Airways, the Thai and Singapore staff, Spain Tourism ( Spain tourism board ) Singapore office, and the agency team Public Hit Co., Ltd. who helped coordinate and take good care of me, making it possible for me to have the opportunity to fly Business class to Spain, something I never thought I would be able to do in my life.

If you haven't read the story about Spain yet, follow this link. It's very spicy. https://th.readme.me/p/1017
