For working humans like us, it is very difficult to go on a trip with everyone in the family.

However, thanks to the long New Year's holiday and the great promotion tickets that were released, we were able to grit our teeth and buy tickets for the whole family successfully.

When everyone in the house says yes!

And my mom, who rarely agrees to travel abroad with us, also said yes.

An ordinary trip filled with the laughter of family and the smile of my mother in the cold air of Japan, thus came to be...

Kurashiki

Kurashiki is a small town in Okayama Prefecture.

For us, visiting this town was probably the most refreshing part of the trip. This small town has a lot of charm and beauty, and we believe that anyone who visits this town will feel the same way.

To get from Osaka to Kurashiki, you can take the Shinkansen directly to Okayama and then take a local train for a few stations to reach Kurashiki.

Upon arriving at Kurashiki Station, the cityscape that greeted us was sparsely populated, with a tranquil and unhurried atmosphere. We took a detour from Kurashiki Station through a small market where most shops were still closed, as it was a weekday, to reach our destination, the Bikan Historical Quarter.

Upon entering the Bikan Historical Quarter, we immediately knew we had arrived. The surrounding houses transported us back to ancient times. Bullock carts, similar to those seen in Kyoto, were still available for tourists. However, what truly caught our eye was the color scheme of the area. The buildings were painted white, with brown roofs dominating the landscape. This created a bright and beautiful atmosphere, with the white buildings and the intricate houses filling the entire area.

This small, family-run restaurant serves Japanese-Indian style curry rice that even my mother, who hates curry, couldn't resist ordering a second helping of.

The most beautiful spot in this area is the Takahashi River. Houses in this area are located along both sides of the river, running parallel to the winding river.

One thing that the Japanese do very well is the cleanliness of their cities, which brings a sense of freshness to those who pass by. From the clear water of the river, the lush trees that line the path, and most importantly, the beauty of the old town atmosphere, which is still well preserved.

We originally planned to spend only half a day in this city, but it turned out that we spent almost a full day in this small town.
And we believe that even Japanese people choose to come here for a vacation, why don't we, Thai people, try to breathe the air here for once?

Let's end the day with a group photo, which was unsuccessful because the person who pressed the shutter didn't run fast enough.

The next smile...
