Hello everyone, today I had the opportunity to visit Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market. So I stopped by a restaurant that is said to have delicious food and a great atmosphere, like the Pob Rak Na Bang Nam Phueng restaurant. To get there, take a car to Wat Bang Na Nok, then take a ferry across the river to Bang Nam Phueng Market. The ferry costs 4 baht per person. After that, you can rent a bicycle and cycle to the restaurant or call a motorcycle taxi. The motorcycle taxi costs 20 baht per person. However, I recommend cycling or riding a motorcycle because it will be much more convenient on the way back. If you take a motorcycle taxi, you can also ask the restaurant to call a long-tail boat to take you back. The boat fare is also 20 baht per person, which is very convenient. As for the way to the restaurant, turn left from the pier and follow the small road. The road is winding, but there are signs along the way. The restaurant is located near the Bangkok Tree House resort. Here is a map of the restaurant.
With the permission of the owner of the picture (Thank you to the page "Riding a motorcycle to travel" for the map picture)
At the Phiprak Shop, you'll find food, coffee, and cakes made from palm fruit (unfortunately, the cakes were sold out when I visited, so I missed out on trying them). It's also a homestay where you can relax and unwind.
Upon arriving at the shop, you will be greeted by a lush and shady atmosphere with a cool breeze. The ambiance is truly delightful.
After that, we walked into the shop to take photos.
Another selling point of the restaurant is the pavilion by the water. The atmosphere here is fantastic (but you need to book in advance).
After that, we took photos around the homestay.
After capturing the atmosphere of the restaurant, it was finally time for what we had been waiting for. As soon as we finished shooting, the food was served.
The first menu is sour curry with acacia omelet and shrimp (250). The shrimp are quite large. The taste is very delicious. The flavor is strong and spicy.
The rice followed closely behind. (70)
The next menu item was the deep-fried catfish cake (150 baht). The taste was okay, a bit salty, with a soft and bouncy texture. However, be careful of the bones.
The last menu I ordered today was Deep-fried Shrimp with Tamarind Sauce (270). This menu is delicious. The tamarind sauce tastes complete. The fried shrimp is very crispy and can be eaten with both head and tail.
This is all I ordered. The good thing about this restaurant is that the food tastes good. Next time I go, I will try other menus. The service is also good, the owner is very friendly. He told me to take a lot of pictures at the restaurant. He said if I have nice pictures, I can post them on the restaurant's page. (But I don't dare to post them because the pictures are not that good). As for the atmosphere, it's very good and shady. Next time, I should try going in the evening. Sipping beer and watching the sunset would be great. As for the disadvantages of the restaurant, it would be difficult to get there if you don't have a bicycle or motorcycle. But that's not a problem if you get to go to a delicious restaurant with a good atmosphere. That's all for my review this time. If there's anything wrong, I apologize.
