Hello everyone, I recently had the opportunity to visit Krabi and stayed at the Krabi Tipa Resort in Ao Nang. The resort is beautiful and conveniently located on Ao Nang Road, making it easy to get around. I also went on a 4-island snorkeling trip on a long-tail boat, which was an amazing experience. I wanted to share my review with you all in case you're looking for another option for your next trip to Krabi.

For this trip, we traveled from Bangkok by Bangkok Airways, which has a lounge with food and drinks for relaxing while waiting for the flight to depart.

The atmosphere of waiting for a plane at the Gate of Suvarnabhumi Airport is sitting and waiting for a plane to watch the plane. There is also free wifi available.

To make the most of our first day, we decided to visit the hot waterfall first. Then, we stopped by Ko Joy's restaurant for some delicious Khanom Jeen. Finally, we checked into our accommodation at Krabi Tipa Resort Ao Nang.

Upon arriving in Krabi, we picked up our pre-booked rental car and headed straight to Klong Thom Hot Springs for a relaxing soak in the thermal waters.

Khlong Thom Hot Spring Waterfall is a waterfall that flows from a hot spring. The area where people soak in the water is a natural pool. Soaking in the water is very comfortable, but it is recommended not to soak for too long. Whenever we visit Krabi, we never miss the opportunity to soak in the hot spring waterfall. It's so natural and we love it very much.

After getting tired from soaking in the hot waterfall, we stopped by to eat Khanom Jeen Go Joy. This restaurant has been famous for a long time, known by both locals and tourists. The menu of the restaurant is not much, Khanom Jeen with fried chicken and then curry to your liking. There are both Gaeng Pa, Gaeng Tai Pla. If anyone orders Gaeng Tai Pla, it will be served in a pot like this with a plate of Khanom Jeen. If anyone orders other curries, they will scoop the curry and pour it over the Khanom Jeen. Personally, I like Gaeng Tai Pla more. It's delicious and spicy like the southern style. Another thing that is a must-have for the restaurant, which is called if you come and don't eat it, it's like you haven't arrived. That is, fried chicken that the restaurant will fry and let us choose to pick and put on a plate ourselves. Hot fried chicken with Khanom Jeen, served with various fresh vegetables. I'm addicted to eating it. Seeing the picture makes me hungry and want to eat it again.

After a delicious meal, we drove to Ao Nang. The Krabi Tipa Resort is easy to find. The hotel's most prominent landmark is the blue-roofed entrance sign.

In front of the hotel, there is a minimart that is a prominent landmark, so you won't get lost.

The spacious parking lot and the beautiful blue roofed lobby are decorated with golf carts ready to serve.

While waiting to check in, there will be comfortable seats for you to sit and wait.

While waiting to check in, we took some photos of the lobby to share with you. It's a spacious lobby with a cool breeze and a clean, airy feel thanks to the blue and white color scheme.

Just past the lobby, there is a restaurant and bar where you can order drinks and ice cream to enjoy in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

The atmosphere in front of the room before opening the door to the room

After checking in and receiving the room key, the resort will have a golf cart service to take you to the top of the resort. For the room we stayed in this time, it was a Deluxe Seaview room, which is located at the top of the resort in a zone of rooms on a hill, allowing the room to have a view of the sea and boats sailing in the sea.

The bed in the room is a large bed, very comfortable. On the bed there are towels and what we really like is that there are 2 sarongs provided.

The room is decorated in a simple Thai style. There is a sofa that can be folded out into another bed.

A flat-screen TV, a dressing table, and a chair inside the room

The sofa bed can be turned into a bed. I love it so much.

Overall atmosphere inside the room.

The bathroom features a rain shower with strong hot water pressure.

Shampoo and soap are provided.

The balcony of the room is perfect for getting some fresh air and enjoying the natural surroundings. The lush greenery of the trees creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Balcony seats

The view outside the room is full of trees, including mango trees laden with fruit and coconut trees. As I sat there enjoying the view, a little squirrel jumped from tree to tree, putting on a show for me.

As you enter the room, you can lie on the bed and look out the window to see the beautiful blue sea view, which is very relaxing.

Zooming in on the sea view from the room, you can clearly see the islands and boats sailing back and forth. It's a wonderful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing day.

After resting in the room for a while, it was already evening. Now the atmosphere is getting dark, so I went out of the room to explore the outside. This picture is a picture of the walkway down to the lobby.

The paths are all clean and tidy, surrounded by many large trees.

Taking another stroll down to the lobby in the cool evening, there's soft, relaxing music playing. It's a perfect spot for anyone who wants to unwind and enjoy a refreshing drink. The atmosphere is truly delightful.

This corner is beautifully decorated. You can come and take pictures here.

Next to the lobby, there is a swing and playground for children to play on.

The evening atmosphere in the lobby is fantastic.

Before heading out for dinner in the evening, we took a walk along Ao Nang Beach. The beach was within walking distance from our hotel. The atmosphere at Ao Nang Beach in the evening was breathtaking. The sun was setting, casting a beautiful glow on the water. The colors were truly mesmerizing, a sight to behold. Many people were out enjoying the fresh air, taking a stroll, or taking photos with the long-tail boats parked along the shore. Some were jogging, exploring the beach. We came across a group of foreigners running into the sea. It was quite amusing to see them eager to fully experience the beautiful natural surroundings. Everyone on the beach seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely. The evening atmosphere at Ao Nang Beach was truly magical. We loved it too. It's not often we get to experience such a beautiful setting. It was truly a blissful moment.

For dinner tonight, we decided to find a casual restaurant not far from the hotel. So we walked around and came across the Ss. Phochana restaurant. It's a simple made-to-order restaurant. We looked at the menu and prices displayed in front of the shop, and it seemed okay, so we decided to stop by.

I didn't regret ordering food here at all because the food was delicious and the price was not expensive. If you come to Ao Nang next time, you can stop by this restaurant again because the food menu starts at only 80 baht. The owner of the shop is also kind. We talked and talked and he gave me a 10% discount. I'm so happy.

The first dish we ordered today was stir-fried morning glory with crispy pork. It was delicious and came with a generous amount of crispy pork.

The next dish was the "Tofu with Assorted Toppings" which looked very appetizing and tasted even better. It was truly delicious when eaten with rice.

Translation:

The next menu is spicy stir-fried catfish, which is very delicious. The spiciness is well-balanced and it has a southern stir-fried flavor. The curry paste is mixed with turmeric, which is beneficial to health. Turmeric helps coat the stomach and expels gas.

Next up is the crispy garlic soft-shell crab, which is our absolute favorite. The crab is fried with crispy, fragrant garlic and served with seafood dipping sauce or chili sauce. It's absolutely delicious!

In summary, we spent a little over 400 baht on food and drinks for this meal. It was delicious and easy on the wallet. Before returning to the Krabi Tipa Hotel to relax, we went looking for a 4-island tour. It was easy to find them along the roadside, where many shops sell tour packages. There are trips to Phi Phi Island, Koh Hong, 4 Islands, and kayaking. You can ask and compare prices at every shop. The prices don't differ much from shop to shop. Alternatively, for convenience, you can contact the Krabi Tipa Hotel directly, as they have a service counter.

Initially, we intended to purchase a speedboat tour for 750 baht per person. However, upon inquiring about the price of a long-tail boat tour, which was 400 baht per person, we reconsidered. We decided to opt for the long-tail boat instead, as we had never experienced it before. We had always taken speedboats for diving trips, so we thought it would be a refreshing change. Additionally, during our previous visit, we had already taken a speedboat tour to four islands. Therefore, we decided to try something different and save some money in the process.

The 4 Islands tour in Krabi differs from other tour programs such as Phi Phi or Koh Hong in that it allows for travel to nearby islands. This is possible due to the close proximity of the islands to each other. The basic program of the 4 Islands tour includes: 1) Visiting Talay Waek (Separated Sea), 2) Visiting Koh Poda, 3) A brief stop at Koh Gai (Chicken Island) with a circling around it, and 4) A visit to Railay Beach and the Phra Nang Cave. This is a general overview of the 4 Islands trip.

After purchasing the tour, I returned to the Krabi Tipa Hotel to relax. So let's cut to the morning. When the car picked me up, it took me to check in and then took me to the boat. The atmosphere on the long-tailed boat was like this. This picture was taken from the back of the boat because at first I sat in the wrong place and sat at the back of the boat. Oh... the sound of the boat engine was very loud. Therefore, if anyone who reads this review is going to visit the 4 islands by long-tailed boat, I recommend sitting at the front of the boat. It will be more comfortable to sit.

The boat took us to our first stop, the "Talay Waek" (Split Sea). However, it wasn't split at all. Haha. To make matters worse, the water level rose from ankle-deep when we first arrived to waist-deep after a short walk. It was also incredibly crowded, a stark contrast to my previous visit when it was much less busy.

The atmosphere on the sea was amazing. I think I came at the wrong time, so I couldn't cross to the other side.

From the Talay Waek, the long-tail boat will take us to a nearby snorkeling spot.

The fish are everywhere, as if they know it's time for their show.

Some of my fellow travelers who could swim were having fun swimming with the fish without wearing life jackets.

I swam and bumped into fish. There were so many fish.

After diving, the long-tail boat will take you around Chicken Island for a while. But today, the sky isn't very beautiful. There isn't much sun because it's the summer storm season. But luckily, it didn't rain. The atmosphere was cloudy all day. The good thing is that it's not hot, but the bad thing is that the sea would be more beautiful if the sun was out.

After circling Chicken Island for a while to see the chicken head, the long-tailed boat will take us to Koh Poda for lunch. For this trip's meals, there will be rice with stir-fried vegetables and two other dishes. Each person will be served one plate. If there is any food left over, you can actually ask for more. However, because there wasn't much food, we only got one plate each and it was all gone. If you're going on a trip like ours, try to bring your own snacks and soft drinks if you can, as there is no service on the boat. The long-tailed boat only provides water. If you buy it on the island, the price will be two or three times higher than on the mainland. But if you don't mind, you can buy it on the island. There is service available.

The atmosphere on Koh Poda Island is quite crowded, with long-tail boats filling the beach.

A group of monkeys on Koh Poda. This one is sitting on the beach showing off.

Translation:

On the island of Poda, we walked to the edge of the beach, looking for an area where there were no boats parked, near the rocky outcrops. There were many fish, and we could swim and cool off in that area.

It's time for the guide to make an appointment for us to board the boat. From Koh Poda, we continue to Railay Beach, with Phra Nang Cave as the last stop.

On the right side is the Phra Nang Cave area. The boat didn't stop on the cave side, so we didn't walk to Phra Nang Cave. We played in the water on the other side.

Before reaching Phra Nang Cave, the sea is full of many islands and rocks. It's a very beautiful view of the Thai sea.

The atmosphere when the long-tailed boats are parked in a row.

We arrived at Railay Beach and played in the water near the shore, as we couldn't play in the middle due to the danger of boats. We went to play near the cliffs, where there were a lot of fish. It was a truly natural experience. The guide let us stay there for a while until it was time to return. After leaving Railay Beach, our 4-island snorkeling trip by long-tail boat came to an end. The boat took us back to Ao Nang Beach, and a car took us back to our hotel as before. This concluded our trip.

After returning from a 4-island diving trip, we went back to rest at Krabi Tipa. After taking a shower and getting dressed, it was already getting late. Today, we planned to go find something to eat in town. Today is Saturday, there will be a walking street in Krabi town, which has a lot of food and snacks for sale.

The atmosphere of the walking street in the evening is bustling with foreign tourists. There are many restaurants selling a variety of food, including seafood, southern Thai food, snacks, desserts, and drinks. You can be sure that if you come to the walking street, you will definitely go home full and satisfied.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the walking street, where you can browse and savor the offerings of various shops.

Translation:

In addition to food, the walking street also offers a variety of handmade souvenirs that you can buy as gifts.

For those who have already bought food, there are tables in the middle of the market where you can sit and eat like this, but it can get a bit crowded.

The night market ends with a fiery stir-fry show. Every pan is set ablaze, attracting a crowd of onlookers and eager customers.

And for those who want to walk the walking street of Krabi, it will be open for buying and selling goods every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, starting from around 5 pm until 4-5 pm. The location of this walking street is located on Maharat Road, near the Vogue Department Store, Krabi. I guarantee that it's fun to walk and there are plenty of delicious things. If you go to Krabi on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, don't miss it. Next, in the morning, for breakfast at Krabi Tipa Resort Ao Nang, under the warm natural atmosphere.

For breakfast, we will eat at this building, which is not far from our room. The top of the building will be a Grand Deluxe room, which is beautifully decorated.

This is a translation of the text you provided:

The breakfast room atmosphere in the photo was taken on the 2nd day when we didn't go island hopping. It was in the late morning, and it was comfortable to sit there. There weren't many people around because, as far as I know, most people come down to eat early in the morning to rush off to the islands.

The breakfast was very complete, filling and delicious. Personally, I don't think there was anything missing.

There are outdoor seats for enjoying the fresh air.

The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, including rice porridge, fruits, stir-fried noodles, bread, fried eggs, sausages, yogurt, and more.

Beverage corner Tea Coffee

Fruits, I must say, if you visit Krabi or Phuket, you must not miss the pineapple. Because the pineapple is very delicious, no matter where you eat it. Pineapple is a famous fruit of Phuket province. So, if you come to visit this area, you will only get to eat delicious pineapples that are easy to find and inexpensive.

Yogurt and cereal for health lovers

Let's take a look at the food we've scooped up. Nothing is missing! Sausages, ham, fried eggs, stir-fried noodles, mashed potatoes, omelets.

Translation:

Soft-boiled eggs for breakfast are a great way to boost your energy. This meal is all about eggs.

Fruits and vegetable salad, this is enough to make you full.

Next, we explored the resort, which was surrounded by a variety of trees, including mango, coconut, and various flowers.

The resort's walkways are clean and tidy, with staff constantly maintaining the gardens and trimming the trees.

The back entrance to the rooms on the lower floor is beautifully decorated. As we stayed on the upper floor, we didn't have this.

At Krabi Tipa Hotel, there is also a children's room for children to play in.

Let's take a look at the beautiful swimming pool. In the morning, there are no people swimming yet. But in the evening, after going to the beach, everyone jumps in the water and has fun. The swimming pool is also well maintained, with no leaves or dirt falling into it.

This corner is a small pool for children, and there are also sunbeds for sunbathing. It is a quiet corner.

To conclude our review, we would like to highlight the beautiful swimming pool of the Krabi Tipa Aonang Hotel. This hotel is another great option for accommodation due to its convenient location in the heart of Aonang. Even without a car, you can easily walk to buy snacks or find restaurants to dine at. There are many restaurants in the vicinity. It is also easy to walk to Ao Nang Beach, just a short walk away. The hotel is located on the main road, making it easy to find and suitable for travel. Therefore, it is another hotel worth considering if you are planning to visit Krabi province.
