Now that you've learned about the luxurious and conveniently located hotels within the Kata Group, let's delve into our review of Beyond Patong Hotel.
The hotel's location is excellent, as shown on the map. It is close to the beach and the walking street, but not in the pub and bar area. There is currently a 20% discount promotion. For more information, please visit the Fanpage at https://www.facebook.com/beyondpatong/.
The hotel is located on the beachfront, with the building stretching along the road that leads directly to Patong Beach. Guests can simply cross the street to access the beach. For those who rent a car, Beyond Patong offers spacious underground parking.
Upon arrival, guests can check in at the spacious and airy lobby. While waiting for check-in, welcome drinks are offered, and there is an internet corner with computers available for use.
After checking in, I took the elevator to my room. The hallway was open and airy, with a view of the lower floors.
And then we arrived at our room. The room we stayed in this time was a PREMIER DELUXE room.
This is a room with connecting rooms, which is very suitable for families. Our family consists of two adults and two older children. It is quite difficult to find a hotel with connecting rooms, as some hotels do not mention whether they have connecting rooms. However, Beyond Patong clearly states that it has connecting rooms, making it ideal for families. You can view details of the hotel and rooms at http://www.beyondpatong.com/.
The Premier Deluxe room, which is our connecting room, consists of two rooms: one with a single bed and the other with a double bed. The single bed room features a king-size bed, which is significantly larger than a standard home bed. Additionally, the mattress is layered with two thick, soft mattresses, covered with high-quality, fresh-smelling bedsheets. Four pillows are provided, ensuring an exceptionally comfortable night's sleep.
The room design at Beyond Patong Hotel differs from other hotels in that the sink is located outside the bathroom. The bathroom itself is partially see-through, but the frosted glass ensures privacy during showers. The bathroom and toilet are separate.
The advantage of having the sink outside is that guests can brush their teeth while watching TV without feeling rushed, ensuring thorough cleaning. Additionally, the sink's location allows for easy handwashing from any angle.
The window area features a comfortable sofa bed with a power outlet nearby. This cozy corner is perfect for relaxing and using your phone.
The wardrobe contains bags for your beach outings, which must be returned. There is also a spare pillow, a bathrobe, and towels for the swimming pool.
Tea, coffee, a water jug, and drinking water are all readily available.
Another feature that I particularly appreciate is the circuit board, which allows for the connection of an HDMI cable between the computer and the TV, enabling the viewing of various internet content on the DVD player. Notably, the Wi-Fi signal is strong and clear.
The table and sofa in the room will be the same for both rooms.
The connecting door that connects the two rooms allows you to walk between the two rooms without having to go outside and knock on the door. This is something we really like.
The connecting room for children has a double bed. The bed is a thick and soft double bed with two layers. Each bed has two pillows, and there is one extra pillow in the wardrobe.
Both bedrooms will have bedside lamps, just like this one. They will be reading lamps on both sides, and there will also be a table lamp.
The sink is also located outside.
Another room that I would like to recommend is the Beyond Deluxe. This room is perfect for couples because it has a bathtub in the room. You can relax in the bathtub, watch TV, and talk to each other.
After checking out the rooms, let's take a look at the swimming pool. The pool is perfect for sunbathing during the day. It offers stunning views of the ocean and Patong Beach.
The daytime atmosphere was not crowded, so I could take pictures comfortably. The view was beautiful.
A walkway from the swimming pool leads to the front building, where the top floor houses the Beyond Sky Bar.
For those who wish to visit Beyond Sky Bar, located on the top floor of the building, you can take the elevator from the ground floor.
The atmosphere of Beyond sky bar during the day is breathtaking with stunning views.
Let's explore the building for a moment. The Beyond Patong Hotel is designed to resemble being underwater. Visitors will experience the curves, patterns, and colors that create the illusion of being under the sea, with schools of fish swimming and whales circling above the ocean floor.
We ourselves walk beneath the deep sea.
This family-friendly accommodation is perfect for children and offers great photo opportunities for check-in.
Beyond Patong: A Haven for Food and Convenience
The ground floor of Beyond Patong houses a variety of restaurants, offering a convenient dining experience for guests. While the current selection is limited, the hotel's prime location suggests that more restaurants will soon fill the available space. This will provide residents with a diverse range of culinary options, eliminating the need to venture outside the hotel for meals.
Beyond the on-site restaurants, the surrounding area boasts a selection of convenience stores, including 7-Eleven and 999 Minimart. These stores offer a wide range of snacks, drinks, and other essentials, ensuring that guests have everything they need within easy reach.
Therefore, staying at Beyond Patong provides not only comfortable accommodation but also convenient access to food and necessities, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing and hassle-free vacation.
Located conveniently in front of the hotel, 999 Minimart offers a wide variety of products, including snacks, beverages, and essential supplies.
Turn right after the 999 Minimart and walk across the street. After about ten steps, you will reach Patong Beach. You can enjoy swimming, relaxing, or walking along the beach.
Patong Beach remains a popular beach, full of color and tourists. The day we went, the weather was very good, with a cool breeze. The advantage of Patong Beach is that it has a lot of shade.
After a stroll along Patong Beach, we returned to our room to relax. In the late afternoon, when the sun had set and the wind had calmed down, we went to the Beyond Sky Bar.
The atmosphere at Beyond Sky Bar in the evening is excellent. The cool breeze is refreshing. Initially, we planned to have dinner there, but after sitting for a while, the sky became overcast, so we decided to have dinner at Beyond Seafood, the restaurant on the lower floor of the building. It is also a restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and is popular among tourists.
Before visiting the restaurant, I took a moment to capture the ambiance of the pool at dusk. The rooftop bar boasts stunning ocean views, visible from the pool itself. The pool's size is neither too small nor too large, and in the evening, it attracts a lively crowd of tourists enjoying a refreshing dip.
The sun began to set, but it was drizzling so we couldn't watch the sunset. So we went down to the lower floor, which is the Beyond Seafood Patong restaurant, a restaurant that many tourists love because of the freshness of the food. The food was fresh and cooked very deliciously.
Ambiance and food, part of the review.
After a satisfying meal, we strolled back through the hotel's ground floor, which was just as stunning at night as it was during the day.
Night Lobbying
I stopped by the rooftop pool to admire the night view, but unfortunately, it was raining, so the photos I took were of the rain. If it hadn't been raining, it would have been much more beautiful, as the pool changes color at night.
After taking a few photos, I had to return to my room to rest because of the rain.
The next morning, we embarked on a leisurely trip to Phang Nga Bay with Andaman Passion. Departing in the afternoon and returning in the evening allowed us to enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel restaurant without feeling rushed.
The morning atmosphere in the dining room is pleasant. The hot food line includes stir-fried noodles, sausages, and various other dishes.
There are a variety of breads, pastries, and fruit juices available.
This corner is for salad and yogurt. The salad dressing is delicious.
This zone is a counter where you can order various egg dishes. You can choose your own fillings for the omelet. If you like cheese in your omelet, you can ask the chef to add more. It's delicious! You can also order pancakes here, which are made fresh and hot.
Another feature I appreciate is the availability of a coffee machine. You can order a hot cappuccino in the morning or a hot tea. There are staff members who will prepare it for you and serve it at your table.
Another thing I like is that there are multiple cup sizes available: a size for hot tea, a size for a small coffee, and a size for a large coffee. Most places only offer one coffee cup size, but here you can choose the size that suits your needs.
A small amount of food was ordered and eaten, and photos were taken in time. Most of the photos were not taken in time, haha. 555
Around eleven o'clock in the morning, we drove from the hotel to Ao Po Pier to embark on a luxurious boat trip through Phang Nga Bay. The trip included kayaking, a sunset dinner, and breathtaking views of the bay.

After cruising around Phang Nga Bay, we returned to our hotel around 7 pm. After freshening up and resting for a bit, we decided to take a stroll along the Patong Beach Walking Street. The walk from Beyond Patong Hotel to Bangla Walking Street was a breeze, taking only a few minutes. The close proximity made it an easy and enjoyable walk.
Along the way, we stopped to watch tourists play at Flow House. After a while, the place was packed with onlookers, so we joined them, blending in with the crowd.
Phuket taxi, tuk-tuk, Patong
Walking along the walking street, I saw various shops and tourists strolling around. I don't usually come to Bangla Road when I'm in Phuket, but it seems to have changed and developed quite a bit.
After reaching the end of the walking street, they discussed their next move. They could either walk to Jungceylon, which was just across the street, or head back. Looking at their watches, they realized it was already late, so they decided to walk back the way they came.
Walking back to my room, I passed by a restaurant in the hotel's rental space. There were many food options to choose from, and many of the restaurants looked quite appealing. However, it was late, so I decided to head back to my room. Good night, everyone! Get some rest.
The next morning, we had breakfast, which was similar to the previous day's review. After a while, we packed our things because we were going to meet friends in Phuket Town. We didn't do much that day, just found a place to eat in town and chatted with friends until it was time to go to the airport.
Before boarding our flight back to Bangkok, we made a quick stop at Nai Yang Beach, as we had some time to spare.
Nai Yang Beach on a drizzly day. The rain started just as we arrived at the beach, but even though the sky wasn't clear, it's still a beach we like to stop by before heading back to Bangkok every time. On weekends, the beach area that is part of the national park has vendors selling grilled chicken, papaya salad, and mats for picnicking on the beach. We once visited in late December, when there wasn't much rain and the sea was very calm. Someone told us that you can rent a diving mask and go snorkeling in front of the beach, where there are coral reefs. I don't know if it's true, but that's what they told me. If you have some time to spare before your flight, you can stop by Nai Yang Beach and relax. It's only about 2-3 kilometers from the airport.
