This review is the second part. It's time to check out of Xanadu Resort on Koh Larn. We and our friends took a speedboat back to the mainland at Bali Hai Pier in Pattaya. On the way back, we took the boat back from the front of the resort.
The atmosphere on the speedboat was such that if anyone gets seasick easily, they would definitely vomit. The driver drove the boat so fast that we had to hold on tight to the boat, otherwise, we would hit the waves and our heads would bounce against the roof of the boat. It's a good thing we were sitting inside. Some of our friends were sitting at the front of the boat, it was like riding a Viking ship at an amusement park. If you like the excitement of riding a boat, I recommend using the Pattaya Koh Lan speedboat service. You can hold a can of Coke, but it will spill and spill again.
After returning from Koh Larn, it was a good time for us to find something to eat. So we had lunch at Uncle Saiwai's restaurant. We had been to this restaurant once before in the evening and sat at a table by the sea. But this time we came for lunch, so we had to sit inside the restaurant. For Pattaya, there are many delicious restaurants, both seafood and non-seafood. There are also many seafood buffets. If I have the chance, I will review them for you to see.
Winged bean salad
Steamed blue crab
Sea bass with fish sauce
Soft-shell crab stir-fried with curry powder
Crab curry
Grilled prawns, the prawns are very big.
It was already noon when we arrived, so we ordered some delicious food. Take a look at what we had. This bowl is a creamy tom yum with mixed seafood, and it tastes really good.
After finishing our meal, we asked to take a picture with the sign for everyone to see. This restaurant, Lung Sai Wae, is a famous one that I'm sure everyone is familiar with. Just search for its location in your GPS and you'll find it.
The atmosphere of the shop on the side where we are sitting.
After a satisfying meal, we continued our journey to Art in Paradise, a 3D art museum. There were so many amazing installations to take fun photos with.
The atmosphere inside Art in Paradise is amazing. If you like taking photos, come visit here. It's definitely fun.
From Art in Paradise, we went to play parachute sailing, or parasailing. For parasailing, there are services available at several locations along Pattaya Beach. You can walk around and ask on the beach. If you want to play, there will be a small speedboat service to take you to the platform in the middle of the sea, which is the platform for playing this parasailing. The price is 500 baht per person. As for those who just want to see the atmosphere of the platform, or what is called a pontoon in the middle of the sea without playing the boat, there will be a boat fee of 100 baht per person. And if anyone is lying on the beach, there is a beach bed service like this for you to sit and wait.
After arriving at the platform in the middle of the sea by boat, the officers took us to get dressed one by one to wait for the life jackets to be fastened. Getting dressed wasn't complicated. We just had to put on a thick jacket with straps.
For those who are already dressed, they will come to this point. There will be another group of officers, which is a very important group. They will be a team to hold the umbrella, hold the sling rope, and attach the hook to the suit we are wearing. They will keep us informed of various signals for safety.
When the boat is ready, the people are ready, the boat will be pulled up like this (which is, I'm really sorry that I didn't bring an action cam with me, I left it in my suitcase, so I don't have any pictures of me floating above.
The atmosphere of the raft in the middle of the sea is a large raft like this. We didn't stay here for long because we actually went up to the sky for only a few minutes, maybe two or three minutes. But it was a lot of fun. At first, we were scared that it would be scary and dangerous. But when we got to play, we really wanted to go up again. It was so much fun, not scary at all.
Returning to the shores of Pattaya, with the atmosphere of Pattaya Beach, which has now been renovated to be beautiful, befitting its status as a famous tourist destination in Thailand. We visit Pattaya very often and have seen changes all the time. Now you can walk along the beach in the evening at ease, except that there will be a lot of people.
Enjoy the beautiful beach views of Pattaya. This spot is in Central Pattaya.
After playing the parachute boat, we went to La Baguette in North Pattaya for some delicious food. This was our last stop before heading home. Every time we come to Pattaya, we see this restaurant, but we never stopped by. However, we noticed that the restaurant always has a lot of customers because it has delicious-looking pastries, a great location, and seating available both inside and outside.
Feel free to choose any snacks you like from this cabinet. There are many delicious cakes and sweets, with a wide variety to choose from.
This is the menu for the restaurant.
The first menu item we ordered is our favorite cheesecake. I ordered this one myself. The other items after this were ordered by my friends.
I can't remember the names of all the dishes, but I know they were all delicious.
Let me end this review with this delicious crepe. I can't remember the name of this crepe, but it's a fruit-filled crepe topped with ice cream. It shouldn't be difficult to make at home.
After a wonderful day yesterday collecting shells at Xanadu Resort Beach Koh Larn (link: https://th.readme.me/p/3466), we returned home feeling very happy. Today, we decided to have another relaxing day without going too far, and we found plenty of fun things to do right here in Pattaya.
