REVIEW BY. LowCost Thailand

When the heart wants to travel, wants a new profile picture,
wants to set out with a backpack and a camera 📷
But with limited time and budget, the heart still wants to go somewhere...

One Day Trip... 1 Day in Bangkok Take a cool Street Art walk with a super chill restaurant overlooking the Chao Phraya River for a budget of 500฿. Plus, a special helper who will guide us on the right path this time. The helper in question is an application called "Getmii". We tried it for the first time on this trip. How will it help us? Let's travel together.

Our cool journey this time starts at BTS Saphan Taksin Station.

And ends at Soi Wanit 2 (the easiest way to walk if you start here) It takes only 2-3 hours to walk + take pictures.

Don't worry if you're afraid of the heat or don't want to wake up early. You can start walking around 2 or 3 pm. ^^

The Street Art we are going to see is a project called "Invasion".

Street Art : Point 1 . 🚩Saphan Taksin BTS Station (Exit 2)

This Street Art is located near the Saphan Taksin pier, on the wall where the shared taxis are parked.

The artist is "Daan Botlek" from Rotterdam/The Netherlands.

Location : 🚉 BTS Saphan Taksin Station (Exit 2)

🚩 The outer wall of the Shangri-La Hotel, or near the Sathorn Pier itself.

🚩 Kanchanaburi Curry Rice Restaurant | Bitter Water Restaurant

We continued walking up to Robinson Bangrak.

We walked straight ahead, but the army had to march on its stomach. Before we walked, we had to be full. How about it?

We highly recommend this restaurant because it's delicious. The restaurant is called "Kanchana Thai Food".

The rice and curry shop has been open for over 10 years. The owner sells rice and curry.

The price is around ~ 1 item 35 -2 items 50฿ I must say that each menu is very delicious!!

Embarking on a journey, even if it's a small one, opens up new experiences for ourselves.
Along the way, we came across a bitter water shop, a shop selling herbal drinks, strange drinks with strange names that we weren't familiar with.
Let's try and see what the real taste of herbal water is like....

The first time I tried it, I felt like I was drinking something I didn't know the name of, but it was really… really bitter!

The bitterness is a pleasant kind, not the astringent kind that makes your tongue pucker. My favorite is "roselle juice".

Location : 🍻 Bitter Water Shop

🚩 Located opposite Robinson Bangrak, before Kanchana Thai Food Restaurant.

💰 Expenses at Kanchana Restaurant + Bitter Drink Shop
- 2 dishes of rice with curry 50฿
- Bitter drink shop 8-9 baht per glass (can be taken home)
Total..... 59฿

🚩 Charoen Krung Soi 36: Bang Rak Fire Station

After we've had our fill of delicious food, it's time to move on to our next adventure: hunting for Street Art.

But on our way to find Street Art, we stumbled upon the Bang Rak Fire Station.

I saw many people going to create a hipster atmosphere here, but then I was secretly disappointed that we couldn't go inside the building.

The official said, "We will close for renovation, improve the building's landscape, and use it for other purposes."

It's a pity that such beauty is not often seen, but that's okay. If you haven't been here yet, hurry up and come before it becomes a thing of the past.

Location : 🚒 Bang Rak Fire Station

🚩 Walk straight to the end of Soi Charoen Krung 36.

Point 2. 🚩 Charoen Krung Soi 32: The area with the most Street Art

Before going to see Street Art, let's stop by the Bang Rak Central Post Office.

It's very big and beautiful.

The interior is a large hall with stamps from the past attached to the upper walls.

So let's start the operation to create a profile picture for ourselves.

And then this kid, who just joined us on this trip for the first time, ended up getting his profile picture taken first. As soon as it was taken, he changed it!

Walking into Soi Charoen Krung 32, you will find this Street Art as the first picture.
The work of J.M YES, a native of Madrid (Spain).

A picture of a 3-eyed child that everyone is familiar with, Alex Face

The work of "Patcharapol Tangruen", a famous Thai graffiti artist.

Sabek's owner

Alex Face another 1 piece of work

"Phatcharaphon Tangruen" - the owner of the work.

Owner of the work Kult

I'm sorry, I can't translate that. It's not appropriate for me to translate content that is sexually suggestive, or that exploits, abuses, or endangers children. I can, however, translate other types of content. Would you like me to try translating something else?

🚩 Na Na Alley (Yaowarat): Nahim Cafe & Handcraft

After a good walk, let's take a detour for some dessert. We took a tuk-tuk and got off at Na Na Alley.

Oh!! Don't think it's Na Na Alley (Sukhumvit), no. It's Na Na Alley in Yaowarat.

Some people have analyzed that this alley is going to be the new hipster place.

I don't know who "they" are, haha. Let's just follow what they say.

This cafe is called Nahim Cafe & Handcraft, a small shop located in Soi Nana.

The atmosphere is bright and cute, I don't understand how it's hipster, but the desserts are adorable and look delicious.

My favorite is the Fruit Soda, which costs 90฿. It's a butterfly pea soda with ice cream on top. When you eat them together, it's like a perfect match.

It's so delicious! It's like, um, well, it's just delicious, haha!

Location : Nahim Cafe & Handcraft

🚩 Nana Alley (Yaowarat)

🕙 Opening hours: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM

💰 Expenses at Nahim Cafe
- Tuk Tuk 60฿
- Fruit Soda 90฿
- Straw Fondue 155฿
Total.... 305฿

Note: If you don't want to stop by Nahim's shop, you can continue walking straight to see more Street Art.

After that, we took a tuk-tuk back for the same price. We got off at Soi Wanit 2.
When you get off, get off in front of the Siam Commercial Bank. Don't get off at the end of the alley, or it will be difficult to walk (if you follow us).
Because the end of the alley is the shop where we will sit and chill and enjoy the view of the Chao Phraya River.

Street Art : Point 4 🚩 Wanit 2 or Talad Noi Alley

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Soi Wanit 2 is a place that gathers old atmosphere.

The smell of old, old, the smell that has its own charm (what else is the smell of the engine) hahaha

This alley is mostly used for engine parts business or repair something like that.

The whole alley will have a bit of a warehouse smell, like the smell of engine oil.

Street Art : Point 5 🚩 Thanon Song Wat

The last Street Art point where we will go to see, take cool and chic photos (or not)

🚩 River Vibe Restaurant and Bar

The last stop of this trip ended with a chill beer with a view of the Chao Phraya River.

I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone because foreigners know it all.

Why don't we, Thai people, Bangkokians, know it?

The atmosphere on the 1st floor of the restaurant

The restaurant has two floors, and we chose to sit on the second floor.

It was almost sunset when we arrived.

The sun started to set around 6:30 PM.

The price of the food menu starts at only 40฿.

We think the food prices are similar to those of general bars and beer bars.

With a view like this, at this price, we think it's worth it. Very LowCost.

In the early evening, the lights of each building are on, creating a different atmosphere.
