One Day Trip @ Similan Islands National Park [Similan Islands National Park]
Hello everyone! I'm back again with a mini review of a one-day trip after secretly traveling for several days. I'm just getting around to writing about it. I've been putting it off for too long! 😅
Earlier, I had the opportunity to visit Koh Tachai and was captivated by the vibrant colors of the sea in that area. I set a goal to visit at least once a year, and this time, it was the turn of the Similan Islands. Let's go! Go Go…!!!

My travel plan is the same as the last time I went to Koh Tachai. I will have a van pick me up from Phuket province and the tour that will take us to the Similan Islands, I chose Love Andaman again (*** I am still impressed with the service). I fell asleep in the car, woke up, and arrived at the Love Andaman pier. Wow, there were a lot of people this time. The pier also has a lot of food to choose from, but... the queue is a bit long. On the other hand, the check-in line for the Similan Islands was very short, and I was able to check in after only a few queues. While waiting to board the boat, I got a Love Andaman shirt. I bought it and put it on right away.
Before boarding the boat, the guide for our group called us together according to our color. This round, I got white, which matched my shirt perfectly. Haha, always biased towards myself. When the guide checked that all the team members were present, he explained the rules, regulations, and the itinerary for the day, including which points we would visit and what we would do at each point. After listening to the guide's explanation, we were ready to board the boat.
Today I was feeling adventurous again and asked to sit at the front of the boat. It wasn't too hot because it was still early, but the force of the waves made me feel very sick. By the time we arrived, I was close to tears.
After a long boat ride, we finally arrived at our first destination, Miang Island, also known as Island Four. The name "Similan" comes from the Yawi or Malay language, meaning "nine" or "group of nine." The archipelago consists of nine main islands, hence the specific names and numerical order.
The beach area of Koh Miang, the beach is not very long. When looking out to the sea, you will see Koh Ha in front of the beach.
We spent about four hours on the island before it was time to board the boat to our next destination.
A short boat ride took us to the diving spot. To be honest, before I came, I imagined diving and taking beautiful underwater photos. But when I actually got there, I could only float for a short while before the waves started crashing against my neck. I gave up and didn't even get a single photo. It's a classic case of "what I thought vs. reality" haha.
After everyone had boarded the boat and were looking refreshed after a full day of diving, we waited until everyone was on board before heading to our next destination, where we would stop for lunch.
After a short boat ride, we arrived at Koh Paed, also known as Koh Similan, the famous Ao Hin Ruea Bo. Wow, the water is so clear! As I mentioned, we will have lunch on this island. Without further ado, we walked to the Love Andaman service point. After lunch, we sat down, did some personal activities, walked around the area, and waited for the next activity that the guide had scheduled. We went to the viewpoint on Hin Ruea Bo. It wasn't a long walk to the viewpoint. When we arrived, there weren't many people, but... after a while, a lot of people came. I have to say... it was really hot on our feet! 555+ But the view was worth it.
After taking plenty of photos, including individual portraits, couple shots, and scenic views, the guide called his group to move on. If we had stayed any longer, our feet would have been cooked!
After coming down from the viewpoint, we played around on the beach and prepared to pack up and take a boat to our next destination, which was the final destination for the day.
Diving again, this time I'll just stand on the boat and watch everyone from afar with concern. 555+ I can't take it anymore. I didn't survive the morning, and now that I'm full, I don't dare to imagine what will happen next. Everyone had a lot of fun swimming for a long time. The guide called everyone back to the boat, and it was time to head back to Thap Lamu Pier.
Due to the fact that in the morning you chose which seat to sit in, on the way back you also have to sit in the same seat. I want to say that... I was burned all over and the waves were stronger than in the morning. I can't describe the condition until I arrived. 555+ When I arrived at the pier, there were souvenirs for sale in the style of Love Andaman, and there were also drinks and snacks to eat. I couldn't wait, I was so thirsty because I had been sitting in the sun for a long time. 555+ I drank several glasses. When I finished eating, the guide came to pick me up and took me to the car. After getting on the car, I don't need to describe the condition. I slept all the way from the pier to Phuket. Ps. I was very full for 1 day and personally impressed with Love Andaman. The guide was very good at talking and following me around to take pictures all the time.
Thanks for following. See you again on the next trip.
