"Coffee" can be enjoyed anywhere, but wouldn't it be great to have it in a cafe you like...?
Of course! The many cafes that are open are there for that very reason. To allow us to stop by, sip on this and that, accompanied by the somewhat loud clanging of the coffee machine, and listen to the faint chatter from the conversations of the table next to us [who we don't know]. To allow us to soak in the art from the cool decor of the shop.
These... seem to have become part of the 'drinking' experience.
...right? Just a small, green space filled with various plants, dotted with vintage decorations, can lift your spirits just as much as a caffeine boost.
So today we decided to spend our late Sunday afternoon at a green space in the heart of the city. The moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere changed... and it was amazing :)
"Green Space in the heart of the city"
: : Town Tree Garden & Restaurant is one of the cafes surrounded by trees. With the perfect arrangement of space between the 'garden' and the 'shop', it is a small green space in the heart of the city that we have only heard of by name. On the day we actually visited, we saw that... it was full of the lushness of the green plants and flowers, almost as if we were sitting in a garden somewhere.
"Town Tree" is a cafe in a greenhouse with a touch of industrial design, vintage decor, and vibrant green accents both inside and outside the glasshouse.
Alright! Coffee Hunters, don't miss out! Follow along as we taste, admire, and capture the full experience together here. :)
"Town Tree" is a cafe and restaurant that serves both hot and cold drinks, cakes, and light meals, ranging from snacks to... full meals.
The seating area and beverage counter are located inside a glass house, easily visible from the entrance, which is adorned with trees, creating a shady atmosphere. However, once you step inside, you'll experience a different feeling. The glass room with its high ceiling gives a sense of spaciousness and openness, with an almost panoramic view of the outside.
Three sides of the wall are glass on a black steel structure. The remaining side is a bare concrete wall, almost white in color, not too raw when braked by small potted flowers and trees. There are plaster dolls and zinc works as decorative pieces, mixed with warm-toned wood, which are included in the table and chair set.
Note: Coordinates: Located on Kaset-Nawamin Road, Soi 240 (Sukhapiban 1 direction). Parking is available behind the restaurant, which can be accessed by walking through the parking lot to the front of the restaurant.
...As soon as you open the door, you'll be greeted by the first corner, which features a wooden chair and a plaster animal sculpture hanging on the wall. This is definitely a spot where everyone who comes and goes will want to take a picture. In addition, ordinary home decorations, as well as old collectibles that are commonly seen, are arranged together so perfectly that no matter which way you turn... there are nothing but [ must-have ] photo corners everywhere.
'Foodies' might be drawn to the food, while 'photography enthusiasts', we think... will be delighted :)
...It's time to find a nice corner to sit and order something to drink to cool down. We chose the innermost corner against the wall on the right side, near the drink counter. The menu we ordered was a bit mixed, as we wanted to try both sweet and savory dishes.
"Town Tree's Dish"
: : The Town Tree Honey Toast menu [ 149 ] is served with a full range of flavors, including a huge piece of toasted bread, drizzled with sweet syrup, topped with a large scoop of ice cream, full of sweetness, and cut with a variety of sweet and sour fruits. The plate is large and can be shared by many people. If you like sweets, you must try it.
:: The Mieng Pla Too [150] is served in bite-sized pieces, featuring generous chunks of mackerel and finely chopped herbs. Choose your dipping sauce – spicy or sweet – to your liking. It's both delicious and healthy. :)
: : I've tried a lot of different drinks, from hot coffee and hot chocolate to iced espresso and colorful smoothies like lychee and blue curaçao, which has a light blue color and a sweet and sour taste.
Note: The taste of the food and the dessert menu that we ordered was okay. The drinks were well-balanced. The hot chocolate was rich, and for coffee lovers, the strength was medium, not too strong. We didn't include the prices of all the drinks, but I remember that...they started at almost one hundred baht. Overall, we were happy with the price, quality, and quantity. The service was friendly.
At this time, the 'foodies' are full and satisfied, so the 'photographers' are taking a look around the interior of the shop first. The drink counter, cake display case, and stylish decorations are all eye-catching, especially the pair of rabbits in a (super) relaxed pose, just like us cafe lovers who are chilling out here. With all the cute decorations, I'm sure vintage lovers will love it.
Nearby is a cake display case. There are many delicious-looking cakes to choose from. I'll have to try one next time :)
"Town Tree" might be the kind of coffee shop that many people are looking for...
A place to relax and sip coffee on a free day, or escape from a busy day. A place that is both a restaurant with its own unique recipes and flavors.
A place with unique decorations and a small green space for city dwellers to relax or take an evening stroll in an English-style garden. Just walk through the tree tunnel to the back to access the atmosphere... :)
Thank you for joining me on this tasting journey. For our next adventure, will it be something 'strong' or 'sweet'? Stay tuned to find out where we'll be heading next! :)
