Hello, on February 14th, I had the opportunity to celebrate Valentine's Day at The Glasshouse. I'm here to share my review with everyone. To get to the restaurant, drive to South Pattaya and continue until you see the 4 Regions Floating Market on your left. You will see a sign for the end of Pattaya City. Drive past the traffic light and you will see a Shell gas station on your right. Make a U-turn. Once you have made a U-turn, you will pass the Shell gas station again and turn left into the alley. There will be a sign for the restaurant at the entrance of the alley. Turn into the alley and you will find the restaurant's parking lot on your left. You can park there. The restaurant's phone number is 081-266-6110. (I took the map from the restaurant's website.)
Upon arriving at the restaurant, it happened to be Valentine's Day, so it was quite crowded. When I arrived, I went to contact the staff and waited for the time I had booked the table. In the meantime, I took some photos to capture the atmosphere of the restaurant. So as not to waste time, let's start the review right away. P.S. There are quite a few photos.
Stepping further into the shop, you'll be greeted by a beautiful, eye-catching glass greenhouse.
After that, I walked around the shop to capture the atmosphere. Let's take a look.
And then it was time to go to the table we had booked. I was so tired from taking pictures, haha (I arrived about 2 hours before the table was booked).
Upon arriving at the table, we immediately ordered some refreshing cold drinks to quench our thirst. The glass on the left is a Vanilla Milkshake for 120 baht, while the other glass is a watermelon smoothie for 75 baht.
After quenching my thirst with a cold drink, it was time to order food. While waiting for the food to be served, I took some photos.
After a while, the staff brought the food we ordered. The first dish was glass noodle salad, priced at 195 baht. The taste was spicy and delicious, but a bit too sour for my taste.
The next menu is Sour curry with fried acacia pennata and shrimp, priced at 300 baht. This dish has a strong and spicy flavor.
The last savory dish was the sea bass with fish sauce, priced at 490 baht. In my personal opinion, I found the taste to be a bit ordinary. It wasn't outstanding, but it wasn't bad either. I personally think the restaurant should pour the sauce directly onto the fish for better flavor absorption. The seafood dipping sauce also lacked a bit of punch.
After that, the shop brought wine, cocktails and desserts to serve. These 3 things I had to pay for the table reservation. The table reservation price is 1000 baht.
I don't remember the name of this cocktail. It tastes a bit bitter and strange, not very delicious. Maybe I just don't know how to drink it. Haha.
The dessert was delicious.
And for dessert, I would like to recommend the Chocolate Fondant, priced at 180 baht. This dish is absolutely delicious! The chocolate is rich and intense, and the whipped cream is so flavorful. I highly recommend it.
This is all I ordered for today. Before I leave, let me take another picture.
Let's summarize the pros and cons of this restaurant. On the plus side, it has a fantastic atmosphere and the staff provides excellent service. The food is decent, and the desserts are absolutely delicious.
The menu has a huge variety of options, so much so that I wasn't able to take pictures of everything to review. As for the price, it's quite expensive, but considering the atmosphere, it's okay. It's a place you can visit once in a while. That's all for my review this time. See you again in my next review. If there are any mistakes, I apologize. If you have any suggestions or feedback, please let me know. You can watch other reviews at https://www.facebook.com/MaxkaReview. Thank you very much.
