Our journey in Chiang Dao district continues…

Despite the fatigue from trekking up Doi Luang Chiang Dao still lingering in our bodies, we continued our journey to our intended destination.
Our journey to Doi Mae Taman, San Pa Kia, was by pickup truck. The journey from Den Ya Khat to San Pa Kia did not take long. The atmosphere began to cool down, the sun was waving goodbye over the horizon. The pickup truck we were using was circling the mountain, climbing to a higher altitude, competing with the level of golden light that seemed to be approaching dusk again.

An old wooden house with a wide balcony for stargazing awaited us at the Sapan Pga Kia Agricultural Station on Doi Mae Taman. We unloaded our belongings from the car and quickly moved them into the wooden house, our haven for relaxation.
The night of the near-supermoon began. Our companions gathered around a barbecue, eating, drinking, and enjoying themselves. The sound of a guitar filled the air, blending with the cold wind from the mountaintop. The warmth from the barbecue was a heavenly comfort for those weary from the journey. That night was filled with joy, and we finally got some rest.

The morning alarm clock rang, but it couldn't get us out of bed and leave our fatigue behind. Until the first friend to wake up shouted, "The sun is up!" This sound made us have to jump out of the warm bed and stand to receive the cold wind. Holding a camera in hand, the brain captures beautiful and warm memories from the golden light of the sun again.

"Nestled atop Doi Mae Taman, 'San Pa Kia' offers breathtaking views of Doi Luang Chiang Dao, resembling a picturesque painting. During the blooming season of the Wild Himalayan Cherry, the scenery rivals the beauty of Japan."

In the early morning, when the sky clears, the majestic view of Doi Luang Chiang Dao from the side emerges, standing tall and beautiful in front of us. The blue sky is adorned with a thin white mist that envelops the mountain in the morning. We stand and admire the magnificent yet warm Doi Luang, considering ourselves fortunate to witness such a view. At times, the peak of Doi Luang tends to hide behind the clouds, preventing travelers from appreciating its splendor.

The morning was idyllic. Friends gathered on the balcony, basking in the gentle sunlight and sipping their morning coffee. The air was crisp, but our hearts were warm with camaraderie.

Nature always creates beauty for travelers, at different times. The nature that appears before us, if we use our eyes to see and our hearts to feel, travelers will not miss that opportunity.

Wanderer in the flower field.
