Hello, I haven't been able to do many reviews lately. I wonder if people here miss me. It might be because it's a time of change in my life, and things haven't settled down yet. But I still find time to travel (look at my desire to travel!).

The weekend has arrived, and I have a strong desire to visit Phuket once more, with Koh Mai Thon as my primary destination. Koh Mai Thon has been on my bucket list ever since it first opened to the public. As soon as I found a suitable tour package, I immediately booked my hotel and flight tickets. For this trip, I decided to stay at Thavorn Beach Village Resort Phuket.

The sky arrived in the afternoon, just in time for check-in. Today, the guests are quite crowded, so it's not lonely. : )

The room Fa booked today is a Pool View room. It's on the top floor and the atmosphere is amazing. Another thing is that the room Fa got has no walls attached to anyone. It's very private. The room below is Pool Access, and the room above can enjoy the view from the balcony. The atmosphere is no different.

The Colonial Charm of Paradee Beach Resort

The guest rooms at Paradee Beach Resort boast a charming colonial style, perfect for those who appreciate a touch of vintage elegance. The sweet and airy ambiance is sure to delight guests with a penchant for the finer things.

Beyond the aesthetic appeal, the rooms offer spacious and luxurious bathrooms, complete with both a bathtub and a separate shower stall. The toilets are conveniently separated for added privacy. However, one minor drawback is the lack of a bidet, which may be a slight inconvenience for some guests.

The outdoor balcony offers a view of the swimming pool and various trees. The room where Fah stayed is not far from the lobby. She likes this place.

After settling in, we had no plans for the first day other than relaxing at the hotel. There were plenty of activities to keep us entertained within the hotel, so we were sure we wouldn't get bored.

We enjoyed the butterfly feeding here. It was adorable. Sometimes squirrels would run down to eat too. The animals here are kept in a relatively free-range environment, with a variety of species including chickens, birds, and rabbits. The animals are quite accustomed to people and can be played with, but please be careful.

A short walk brought me to the swimming pool, conveniently located near the lobby. However, the sun was still strong, making a beach stroll unappealing. Instead, I opted to rest at the "Thai Sala," a waterfront pavilion offering refreshments and coffee.

Upon arriving at this establishment, I couldn't resist ordering their signature Thai Iced Tea Cube.

After relaxing for a while, the sun began to set and the wind picked up. We decided to take a walk along the beach. From the shore of Patong Beach Village, we could see a panoramic view of Patong.

There are baby elephants too! So cute!

It's dinner time! Today we are having dinner at the Old Siam Restaurant.

Today's food is very delicious, the table is full. The atmosphere is also very good because it is right by the sea, enjoying the cool breeze.

Thai dessert lovers will be delighted with the selection, starting with beautifully presented mixed fruits, sweet sticky rice with mango, and fragrant tapioca pearls in coconut milk sprinkled with sesame seeds. It's absolutely delicious!

Exhausted from their journey, Phob and Buddy crashed as soon as they arrived at their room, eager to wake up early the next morning for their island adventure.

For breakfast, we went to the restaurant near the lobby.

The breakfast buffet was of good quality and offered a wide variety of options. However, I was unable to take many pictures as I was short on time. The van was scheduled to pick me up to take me to the boat. I had just taken five bites of my breakfast when my phone rang, indicating that the van had arrived at the lobby. I was too late!

This time in Phuket, we went on a tour to Mai Thon Island. We went with two girls, no boyfriends. This time, we traveled to Mai Thon Island with Love Andaman, the same company we went with to Koh Tachai, but this time we didn't go to the pier in Phang Nga, we boarded in Phuket instead.

This time it was blue, and the highlight was that the guide who took care of us this time was the same one who took care of the FPU group when we went to Koh Tachai. He remembered FPU because he was the only one on the boat who got seasick during the trip to Koh Tachai. 55555

From the pier, it takes only 15 minutes to reach the private island amidst the azure waters. It is truly breathtaking.

Ko Mai Thon is an island perfect for a truly relaxing getaway. There are hardly any activities to do on the island besides lounging, listening to music, reading, swimming, taking photos, and eating!

Indeed, our visit to Koh Mai Thon was a serious culinary adventure, akin to changing clothes for a photoshoot.

During her time on the island, Fubha spent her time eating, taking photos, and watercolor painting. (Those who enjoy these activities are welcome to bring their own supplies, but please help keep the area clean.)

They spent time changing clothes and running around to take photos (FBPW and friends brought a total of 3 outfits).

and paint with watercolors

We stayed on Ko Mai Thon until around 3 pm. The team then took us back to the mainland and drove us to various locations in a van. We didn't arrive at the hotel until around 5 pm. I was so tired that I went to the VIP Lounge to relax for a while.

This room is special, but how do I use it? It's very simple. Just book a room through the Thavorn Beach website and you can use this room for free from 10 am to 4 pm.

This room offers:

Free water
Free snacks
Free internet
And a free Play Station to play with.

I would love to curl up in this room. ><

We relaxed in the VIP Lounge for a while, snacking and drinking until we were full. Haha! After a tiring day on the island, we needed some relaxation.

The spa was the perfect answer for us.

Before we begin, we need to collect some personal information from you, such as whether you have had any previous surgeries or if you are allergic to any substances.

The spa is located directly across from our room, just a short walk away.

This time, Phubol opted for an aromatherapy massage, as she was extremely exhausted from a full day of island hopping. (Wait a minute, didn't I hear she was just eating and sleeping?) She didn't bring her camera down with her because she had used up all the battery taking pictures on the island. Oh well, a phone will have to do.

The massage room is fully equipped with private bathroom, toilet, and even a steam room. The 60-minute massage was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. We took turns washing ourselves, and the massage oil not only smelled great but also left our skin feeling soft and smooth.

After the massage, the lovely staff brought me herbal water. This is true relaxation!

This spa's signature offerings include coconut scrubs and fruit-infused massage programs (including a Mango Spa treatment).

That night, after the spa, we rushed back to our rooms to pack and get some sleep, as we had to be at the airport at 4:00 AM the next day! Oh my goodness!

You might not believe it, but the trip you see here was not planned with a single day off from work. We went on a Saturday and Sunday only. See? Even with just a weekend, you can still travel this much and have this much fun. If you have a free weekend, try following in our footsteps. We're happy to share our travel tips!

Yours truly,

28 November 2016
