One-day trip to Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market

The Bang Namphueng Floating Market is a great place to visit for a relaxing day trip. Located in the Bang Namphueng sub-district of Phra Pradaeng district, Samut Prakan province, the market is easily accessible by car, bus from the Phra Pradaeng pier, or by ferry from the Bang Nam side. The market offers a variety of goods and services, including food, drinks, souvenirs, and boat rides. Visitors can also enjoy the scenic views of the Chao Phraya River.

Before entering the floating market, we stopped by to eat boat noodles at Uncle Phui's noodle shop. A bowl costs only 10 baht and is very delicious. They offer both pork and beef options. If you arrive early, you can also try their steamed rice cakes, which are equally amazing.

(Located opposite Wat Bang Khmin)

(Piles of pork and beef, as many bowls as you like)

After a satisfying meal, continue your journey. As you drive, you will encounter restaurants, cafes, and shops along the way. Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market is located in Soi Phet Heming 26. There is a sign at the entrance of the alley. Upon entering, you will see many people cycling, as bicycle rentals are available here. The rental prices vary depending on the shop, so be sure to inquire.

We have arrived at Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market. It has changed a lot since we first visited when it had just opened. There wasn't much to see then, but now it's amazing! There are so many clothes, accessories, and food to choose from, it's hard to know where to start.

(Sweet fish sauce, grilled catfish, and fried catfish are delicious. I highly recommend them. If you go there, you should try them. They are really good.)

If you want to buy food and eat it at the floating market, there is a garden where you can sit and eat. The atmosphere is good, shady, cool breeze, comfortable and there is also live music to listen to. Or if you want to sing, you can go up and sing. Just follow the queue. We saw a lot of people singing, our parents' generation. It's cute. Some sing duets, some sing solo. And everyone has a good voice.

(Take a break from walking and get a foot massage.)

(Rent a bike and ride around)

Besides the Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market, there are many other attractions in the area. If you're interested, you can go and check them out. It's a one-day trip that's not too tiring, and you can walk around and eat at your leisure. Plus, it's not far away. I hope everyone will come and visit! :)
