Hello, with the hot weather like this, the sea must come to mind!! Today, I would like to take you on a trip to Pattaya Beach.
Pattaya is easy to get to, even for just one night, it's a relaxing getaway.
Today, I would like to recommend a quiet hotel in Pattaya with a good atmosphere, by the sea, and delicious breakfast.
@Way Hotel Pattaya
Way Hotel Pattaya is a hotel in the same group as The zign pattaya. The location of the hotel is in the same alley as The Zign Pattaya, but it is a little further away from The Zign pattaya. Click on the image to go to Google Maps.
Way Hotel Pattaya is a beachfront hotel, but the sea is like a mangrove forest.
You can't swim in the sea, it's not a beach, but it has a good sea atmosphere.
But what we like about this hotel and made us decide to book it is because the room has a big bed and a small bed, which is
- 1 king size bed and 1 single bed
- Sea view overlooking the fishing bridge, watching the lives of people on the fishing bridge, it's fun.
Let's go see the hotel.
The hotel lobby. As you walk in, you will see the reception desk. I didn't have to wait long before I received my room card.
The sofa is for resting in the hotel lobby.
The door leads to the swimming pool, the restaurant, and the beach.
The walkway leads to the elevator.
Let's take a look at the room. Personally, I think the price is reasonable, especially with the discount, and the room is great. It's a hotel that I would definitely book again for a relaxing stay. The room is spacious and has both a small and a large bed, as well as a sofa where you can sit and enjoy the view.
The room features a large, clear window offering stunning views of the outdoors. A balcony allows guests to step outside and enjoy the fresh air. We booked a city view room, as the sea view option was slightly more expensive. However, those who opt for a sea view will be treated to panoramic ocean vistas.
Complimentary tea, coffee, and two bottles of water are provided.
The bathroom design differs from the transparent glass enclosures found at The Zign.
We personally prefer this setup, as it provides greater privacy while showering. Upon entering the room, we immediately felt a sense of relaxation and unwound completely. We spent the majority of our time simply resting and sleeping.
In the late afternoon, we ventured out for a leisurely stroll through the Na Kluea Market, followed by a delightful meal in the vicinity.
Come and dine at this restaurant!
Just a short distance past the Na Kluea Market, you'll find a bridge crossing a canal. Cross the bridge and you'll come across this restaurant: Koh Seafood. It's a casual eatery with affordable prices.
The entrance to Koh Seafood is simple, and you can also access the restaurant from the side by the sea.
Here are some photos of the restaurant and its surroundings:
- A walkway around the restaurant.
- The view while waiting for your food, with the sun setting in the background.
- The menu we ordered:
- Oyster salad.
- Stir-fried seafood.
- Large prawns and squid.
- Tom som (sour and spicy soup, fish type unknown).
- Salmon fried with fish sauce, specifically the belly and fin sections.
- The total bill came to around 500 baht for the two of us.
- After our meal, we bought some snacks and headed back to our room to relax. We mainly focused on resting during this trip, so we didn't go out much. We just slept, ate, and stayed at the hotel.
The next morning, we woke up late and had breakfast. We really enjoyed the breakfast at Way Hotel Pattaya, especially the rice porridge. We love rice porridge, especially in the morning. We also enjoyed the congee and would recommend trying them all.
There was also a bakery corner with a variety of breads to choose from, as well as fresh fruits.
From a bakery perspective, the food line offers a comprehensive overview. Moving forward, the hot line features fried rice and other breakfast staples commonly found in hotels, such as bacon, sausages, and an egg station with various options like fried eggs, omelets, and scrambled eggs. Additionally, there is a selection of orange juice, milk, cereal, and fruits. Overall, the breakfast spread is considered satisfactory.
After breakfast, we continued to enjoy the hotel's atmosphere. The Way Hotel Pattaya has a two-story swimming pool with a seating area to enjoy the breeze. There are stairs leading down to the lower level, which is the upper pool connected to the hotel building.
The Way Hotel Pattaya's swimming pool is not as large as The Zign's, but it's not as small as a fishbowl either.
The view from the top floor down to the bottom. The bottom floor is another swimming pool, and down another floor is the beach, which is a sandy beach with beachfront villas.
Balcony with sea view from the top floor
On the way down to the lower floor, there is a seating area to catch the cool breeze next to the dining room, where you can also sit out here in the morning if you are having breakfast.
The stairs down to the lower floor are a bit hot in the sun.
Seating by the pool.
The atmosphere of the swimming pool below.
From the swimming pool, down another floor is the beach. On this lower floor there is a fitness center and shaded seating by the sea, where you can sit comfortably with the cool breeze.
If you stay in a villa, you will be really close to the sea. When the tide is high, you can hear the waves crashing under the villa.
We really enjoy the fitness center. It's not very large, but what we love is that you can exercise right next to the sea. The atmosphere is great, the view is beautiful, and it's truly close to the sea. It feels like the ocean is right in front of you. It's perfect for people who love to exercise.
The last picture is the entrance to the villa, but we didn't go in because we didn't stay in this room.
That's it for this review. It was a short trip, just one night. We focused on relaxing, sleeping, eating, and then checking out and heading straight home.
If you're looking for a place to relax for just one night, this could be a good option. Pattaya has a lot of places to stay, so we always look and look and look again before we choose a hotel. You could say we're picky (someone once secretly called us picky, but we'll always be picky because we pay to stay somewhere and we want to stay somewhere nice and take our loved ones to relax. A good hotel is worth the money, haha). But we were impressed with Way Hotel Pattaya (based on our experience).
