This time, we choose to go... well, both, but let's present a travel story to Tad Hin Yai, one of the many medium-sized waterfalls in Prachinburi province.

Our journey begins as we depart Bangkok in our personal vehicle, heading towards Prachantakham District in Prachinburi Province. Upon reaching Prachantakham, we continue our journey to our first destination: the Khao Yai National Park Ranger Station Khun Ya 10. Here, we meet with our designated guide and porters, who are prepared to assist us on our expedition.

After leaving Unit Khun Ya 10, we continued our journey in a 4x4 vehicle provided by the park for approximately one hour. The terrain was challenging, with water crossings, steep inclines, and dense forest. We had to dodge branches and navigate rough roads, making for an exhilarating and bumpy ride. After a significant period of travel, we reached the starting point for our hike.

Let me pause here for a moment and tell you a little story from a long time ago. Decades ago, we came to this place when cars couldn't reach the starting point of the trek. So what did we do? We walked, of course! We walked all day long. There were no porters, only a guide to lead the way. We carried all our belongings, food, and supplies on our backs and shoulders.

The journey was akin to trekking through a dense forest, ascending a mountain in search of the magnificent Tad Hin Yai waterfall, a seemingly endless distance away. The fatigue was immense, but the reward was worth it. Upon reaching the waterfall, all thoughts of exhaustion vanished, replaced by an overwhelming sense of exhilaration. It was truly a moment of pure bliss. Returning to the present, the memory of that experience lingers, a reminder of the transformative power of nature.

The hike takes about an hour from the starting point. The trail winds through a bamboo forest, opens up to a vast field, and even crosses a small stream, adding a touch of excitement without posing any real danger due to the shallow water.

A small thrill as you cross the stream.

Upon arrival, we set up camp, pitching our tents and flysheets in a spacious area devoid of other people. Our team was the only one present, which was unusual as we rarely encountered other tourist groups during our previous visits. It is possible that the majority of visitors opt for the nearby Ta Kracho Waterfall, which does not require an overnight stay, allowing them to swim and return on the same day.

Excellent! This kingdom is now mine alone. Hahahahahahahahaha...

**Physical Description:** Tad Hin Long resembles a vast, elongated stone slab etched with numerous waterways, forming a series of picturesque miniature waterfalls.

**Recreational Activities:** Once settled, visitors can immerse themselves in the refreshing waters of the numerous pools and rapids. The cool water, teeming with small fish, offers a delightful foot soak or an invigorating jacuzzi-like experience.

Delightful, utmost joy.

He's soaking in a jacuzzi.

Officer, please cook rice.

After playing until they were exhausted, it was time for dinner. They helped each other out like seasoned travelers, enjoying their meal while watching the evening waterfall. It was truly blissful. However, every journey has its obstacles, and this one was no exception. It's impossible to have everything go perfectly all the time, right?...

Twilight's embrace upon the heavens, where sky meets forest and water.

The weather was perfect today. The sun was shining brightly, making the water warm and inviting for swimming. As the day progressed, the sunset painted the sky with vibrant colors. However, as night fell, the weather took a turn. Clouds gathered, and rain began to fall. This was despite choosing a time at the end of the rainy season.

At first, it was just a light drizzle, but then it started to pour. After a while, it stopped, but then it started raining again, even harder than before. The whole night was filled with rain. The tent couldn't keep the water out, and it started to leak. Luckily, the park ranger had told us to camp on high ground, so we didn't get flooded. But it was still a rough night.

The night was rough, to say the least. But as the sun rose, the sky was a brilliant blue, and everyone was still smiling and laughing about the previous night's events. That's how it goes; there's always something unexpected that makes the experience more fun. When you're exploring the wilderness, you have to be prepared for anything.

In the morning, before the sun chased us away, we packed our belongings and set off on our return journey, our hearts filled with joy. On our way back, we encountered another thrilling experience. The water level had risen due to the previous night's rain, making it impossible to cross the same path. We had to find a new route, and the officers helped us by setting up a rope for us to hold onto as we crossed the water. It was an exhilarating experience. We look forward to returning again in the future.

The water is quite strong, making it exciting.
