Khao Lak, Phang Nga: A Romantic Escape
Khao Lak, a renowned destination in Phang Nga, Thailand, is a haven for international travelers seeking a romantic escape, particularly during the warm summer evenings. While many opt for the popular Nang Thong Beach, THE HAVEN KHAOLAK offers a unique and secluded experience.
This hotel is truly designed for tranquility and is ideal for couples (singles are also welcome, of course!). It is situated on "Kึกคัก Beach," which, despite its name, is surprisingly peaceful and quiet.
Let's go see... is it really heaven?
This time, I was assigned to work in this area and had to stay here. THE HAVEN KHAOLAK is a hotel that has only been open for 2 years (early 2015), but it has always been a hotel in my heart that I would like to stay at someday.
Upon arrival at the lobby, guests are greeted with a welcome drink, a standard offering at 4.5-star hotels. The signature Sparking Ginger, a refreshing beverage made with young ginger and a touch of fizz, is served alongside fragrant cold towels.
While waiting to check in, I played with the koi fish.
For ease of reading, I have divided it into two parts:
1. Guest room
2. Surrounding area
Part 1 Guest room DELUXE ROOM
Our journey begins in the guest room. My accommodation was a DELUXE ROOM (Pool View). It's worth noting that every room here boasts a pool view, as the swimming pool dominates the landscape. Consequently, the hotel does not accommodate children under 12 years of age.
The room is extremely spacious, creating a sense of openness and eliminating any feeling of claustrophobia.
The bed is very large, the size of two queen beds pushed together. (I measured it with my eyes.)
A whale-shaped pillow with a name card rests on the bed, welcoming you.
*** I just noticed that the picture behind me is of a whale. If anyone doesn't want to make their bed, just put the whale on the bed. It will save you from having to wash and water it. ***
Next to the bed, there is a seating area and a fruit basket placed as a welcome gift.
The workspace features a relaxing brown wood and wicker table and chair set, adorned with small art pieces.
Complimentary bottled water (4 bottles), tea, and coffee are provided. Other items are priced accordingly and clearly displayed. No need to worry about hidden costs.
Whether you're going sunbathing, taking a stroll, or facing rainy weather, we have all the equipment you need.
Earthy-toned bathroom for a relaxing atmosphere.
Rain Shower with adjustable water pressure and temperature (but no bathtub). // The pool is huge, so go for a swim instead! Haha!
The room retains an oriental aesthetic through its handcrafted elements, such as wicker chairs, embroidered headboards, and curtains. These details create a sense of refined elegance while maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Section 2: Surrounding Area and Atmosphere
THE HAVEN KHAOLAK boasts the **largest saltwater pool in Thailand**, stretching an impressive 300 meters. Not only is the pool visually stunning, but the saltwater also offers health benefits and prevents hair from becoming tangled.
Join us as we explore the pool's ambiance, both during the day and in the evening.
The azure pool blends seamlessly with the ocean's hue.
Not a large pool in the middle of the hotel, but the pool still winds around the building.
Or even restaurants
Not only the lower floors, the second floor, the third floor, but also the swimming pool.
This is a blank paragraph.
I believe that all hotel rooms have a view of the pool. The only difference is whether you choose a Pool View or Pool Access room.
Let's take a look at the evening atmosphere.
The best time to visit is during sunset. Don't miss it! It's a beautiful atmosphere that foreign tourists pay tens of thousands of baht to see.
Note: The original text is empty, so the translation is also empty.
The sun is still shining brightly, but the sky is starting to turn golden, allowing us to enjoy taking silhouette photos.
The golden light gradually transitioned into a reddish-orange hue. The water in the pool remained perfectly still, reflecting the indescribable colors of the sky, captivating the observer in a mesmerizing trance.
We don't know if this place is like heaven, but we can feel the peace, simplicity, and happiness here.
