This time we're #changing beds after working and taking a break from traveling for a while.

And today we have a hotel to recommend to our friends. If you're going to Pattaya, you can check in and stay with us.

Hotel A - ONE STAR: A Brief Overview

Before we delve into the hotel's atmosphere, let's take a quick look at its key features:

  • Location: Situated conveniently on Beach Road, offering easy access to the stunning coastline.
  • Amenities: Boasts a comprehensive range of amenities, including 24-hour room service, complimentary Wi-Fi in all rooms, a 24-hour reception desk, express check-in/check-out, and luggage storage.
  • Rooms: Offers a total of 258 well-appointed guest rooms.
  • Proximity: Located just 1.5 kilometers from the city center, providing convenient access to the bustling urban scene.

The room rate is 1,200 baht per night.


Travel:

  • Public transportation: From Bangkok to Pattaya, get off at North Pattaya and then take a bus to Beach Road. When you reach Soi 3, you can get off.
  • Private car: From Bangkok, drive straight to North Pattaya. Go down to the beach and continue straight ahead. When you reach Soi 3, turn left into the hotel.

My partner and I rode a motorbike from Bangkok to Pattaya.

Now that you have a rough idea of the hotel, let's take you on a tour of the atmosphere.

The front of the hotel is located right on the street.

And most importantly, it's right on the beach, just a few steps away from the water! ^^

The hotel is easy to find. It is located on "Pattaya Soi 3" and is right on the main road.

The highlight of the hotel is the main building, which is shaped like a ship, as you can see in the picture. It is very prominent.


Turn into the alley for a short distance, and you will find the hotel on your right.

This is the front area of the hotel.

I stayed in a room in the Star Hotel building, which is also located in Soi 3.


And here is the parking lot. There are parking spaces for both cars and motorcycles.

Do you see my motorcycle? It's the one in the middle :-)



After checking in, let's go up and see the room. I'm tired from riding the motorcycle, so I'm going to take a shower and nap for a bit.

To access the elevator or enter the room, you will need a key card, which is quite secure.



We have arrived at our room for tonight. Let's take a look inside.



The room was compact, a bit too small for me actually, since I'm quite big, haha.

But whenever I travel, I'm not that serious about the size of the accommodation.

Now I'm going to take a shower and take a nap. I'm exhausted from the sun, and it's raining now, so I can't go anywhere.

I'll just nap until the rain stops. zZZ



And then I napped until three in the afternoon. I slept soundly, the air conditioning was so cool.

When I woke up, I was immediately hungry, so we went out to find something to eat and then went for a short bike ride.

When you come to Pattaya, you have to come up and enjoy the view from Khao Phra Tamnak.



Visiting Pattaya without experiencing its nightlife is like not visiting it at all (this is just my opinion).

Let's take a look at what's interesting near the hotel.

Don't worry about food, there are 24-hour restaurants all along the beach.



Beachside Market

There are many food stalls here. Most of them sell seafood, with a wide variety to choose from.




Continuing on, you will encounter the Central Beach Festival Pattaya.



The destination of the night trip is to walk on Walking Street.

We took a bus from Central to get here. :-)

Actually, it's okay to walk slowly, but I'm lazy. Haha.



On the way back to the hotel, I took a public bus on Pattaya Second Road.

Along the way, I saw various shopping malls, including Mike Shopping Mall, Royal Garden Plaza, The Avenue Pattaya, and Central Marina.

If you want to visit all of these malls, it will take you a whole day.

P.S. Terminal 21 is currently under construction. How many more shopping malls will there be?



And that's a wrap for day 1 in Pattaya. I'm exhausted, so I'm going to get some rest.



Another morning in Pattaya and A-ONE HOTEL

Woke up at 6:00 AM, washed my face, brushed my teeth, and then went downstairs to have breakfast together.

Breakfast here starts from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

There is a wide variety of food available, both Thai and Western. You can choose to eat as much as you want.




Let's head up to the swimming pool now that we've had our fill. There probably won't be many people around this early in the morning.

The swimming pool is located on the 4th floor of Building B.



Guests can walk directly to the beach in their swimwear.

The hotel provides a rinsing area.

After checking out, we rode back to Bangkok, concluding our short #staycation trip.
