To add sweetness to your relationship, create romantic moments with your partner, or surprise her with a smile, the easiest way besides taking her on a trip is to take her arm and have a delicious dinner or a delicious buffet in a place with a good atmosphere.

Currently, there are many interesting dinner buffets at leading hotels in Bangkok. Last month, I had the opportunity to take my partner to dine at the Mercure Bangkok Siam Hotel. It is another interesting option for those who want to find an opportunity to add sweetness and romance in this style.

The Mercure Bangkok Siam hotel is located opposite the National Stadium (Suphachalasai Stadium) next to MBK Center, making it easily accessible by BTS Skytrain. Simply get off at Saphan Taksin Station and the hotel is right in front of you. Both the Mercure and Ibis hotels are located in the same building, but you can enter through the Mercure entrance.

The restaurant is called The Eight, so take the elevator up to the 8th floor. As soon as the elevator opens, you'll be there.

The ambiance is inviting and comfortable, with a color scheme of purple, red, and gray that exudes a touch of luxury. Guests can choose their preferred seating, with those arriving early having the advantage of sitting closer to the food line, minimizing the need to walk long distances.

Find a comfortable seat and explore the buffet line at your leisure. The seafood is the highlight, with its fresh and succulent offerings. The restaurant offers two styles: on ice, where you can enjoy the seafood chilled and savor its natural sweetness, or cooked, featuring a parade of crabs, prawns, mantis shrimps, and large mussels.

The second option takes us to the outdoor section. This is a seafood lover's paradise, with grilled blue crabs, river prawns, mantis shrimps, scallops, squid, and clams sizzling on the grill, their enticing aroma filling the air. Diners can choose from three different dipping sauces, each with its own unique flavor and color.

For those who are still not satisfied, there is also Japanese sashimi, both salmon and tuna, to enjoy. Dip it in a little soy sauce and add a little wasabi. The freshness and deliciousness are guaranteed.

Let's explore other culinary styles. I must say, the pizza here is exceptional, highly recommended. They also offer quiche, a dish made with eggs, milk, and cream, baked with various ingredients. This was my first time trying it.

For pasta lovers, spaghetti at Mercury is always freshly prepared by our chefs and available in all popular styles. However, my personal favorite is the spaghetti with meat sauce. After finishing the first plate, I immediately ordered a second one. It was truly delightful.

If you're craving something spicy to change things up, there's a wide variety of spicy salads and other dishes to choose from, both Thai and European. Or, if you're in the mood for a fresh salad, go for it! Get creative and mix your own salad dressing to perfection.

Don't miss the creamy Tom Yum Goong, featuring large prawns in a rich and flavorful broth that is perfectly balanced with spice and sourness.

We are ready with a full table, so let's dig in! We've come prepared with empty stomachs.

Indulge in any dish that tickles your fancy, but a word of advice: save some room for dessert. The delectable sweet treats here are simply divine, with a wide array to choose from. From Western cakes and fruit tarts to traditional Thai desserts, there's something for every palate. If you're a fan of fondue, you're in for a treat. It's my personal favorite, and I indulged in a generous portion.

A delightful and joyful meal has come to an end. Typically, when I indulge in a buffet like this, I don't bother calculating the cost-effectiveness. All I know is that whenever and wherever I share such an experience with someone special, a wide smile is guaranteed. And that smile, my friends, is priceless.

Money can buy moments of happiness, believe me, it's true. (Haha...)
