This trip was born out of a desire to catch up with friends we haven't seen since graduation. But just meeting up wouldn't be enough fun, we had to go on a trip too. However, since we haven't started working yet, we didn't have much money, and the only time we had free was on weekends. So we decided to go to Kanchanaburi, which is conveniently close and easy to get to.

Before the trip, we discussed the theme of the clothes we would wear. But then one of our friends suddenly said, "You guys can't go anymore." So, we got ditched by our friend again. But we continued our trip anyway, not caring about anyone. "Whoever doesn't go, I'll go," we said. Haha.

Traveling to Kanchanaburi can be done by bus, van, or train. However, the most convenient and time-saving option is undoubtedly the van.

It was around eight o'clock when we left the dormitory. Since it was already late, we quickly hailed a taxi to the Southern Bus Terminal (Pinklao).

After purchasing the bus ticket, we quickly boarded the vehicle. After a short journey of approximately two hours, the bus arrived at Kanchanaburi Bus Terminal. We swiftly disembarked and headed towards the vehicle bound for Erawan Waterfall. Upon inquiring with the driver, we were informed that the next departure was scheduled for 10:45 AM. With ample time remaining, we decided to grab a bite to eat.

I had to find something to eat near the bus terminal, so I quickly ate and rushed to catch the bus, fearing I wouldn't make it on time.

After purchasing your ticket, you can either board the bus and take a seat, or wait to be seated and someone will collect your fare.

The bus was extremely crowded. The journey to Erawan National Park took almost two hours.

This is the scenery along the way. The driver drove slowly to let us take pictures.

Upon arrival at the park entrance, park rangers will collect the entrance fee directly from your vehicle. Students, please have your student ID ready, as showing it will grant you a 50% discount on the entrance fee, saving you some money.

We arrived at our destination and went to the tourist information center to inquire about our accommodation. The staff informed us that we could collect our key at 2 pm. We decided to spend some time at the waterfall before checking in. We hiked up to the fifth level of the waterfall, but our time ran out as the staff requested everyone to descend by 3:30 pm. We then returned to the first level and continued playing in the water until we felt hungry. Looking at the time, it was almost 5 pm, so we went to collect our key and find something to eat before heading back to our accommodation.

This is the atmosphere of the accommodation that our friend, Te, booked for us.

After showering and eating, I went for a walk. As it started to get dark, I hurried back to my accommodation.

The next morning, they woke up early to hike to the seventh tier of the waterfall.

Before heading to the waterfall, we took a stroll around the park's pier, which is also a designated camping area. The atmosphere was delightful, and we decided to camp here on our next visit.

Although there was no fog in the morning,

The air quality is slightly better.

Feeling a bit lonely after being rejected.

After soaking in the atmosphere, we quickly headed to the waterfall. We had to hurry because we needed to collect our belongings and return the room key before noon.

First floor: Return to the nest

Second Floor, Wang Matcha

Level 3 Waterfall Basin

This is a scenic viewpoint between floors 3 and 4.

4th floor, Ghost shirt

We arrived in the evening and saw many people sliding down the water slide. It looked like fun, but the water level was low.

5th floor, no elevator access.

Similarly, there is also a shortage of water.

This floor will take a long time to walk to. It will be quite far from the 4th floor.

Floor 6, Dong Pruk Sa

The oil will be a little less.

The 7th floor of the Erawan Cave

This level is perfect for swimming. The water is a soft, inviting color, and it's not too deep. After a tiring climb, take a break and cool off in the water before continuing your descent. Once you're in, you won't want to leave. The water is so refreshing!

Here, you can see foreigners climbing up the waterfall. It looks like fun, but for someone like me who is afraid of heights, it's a bit scary.

After descending from the waterfall, we purchased food at the welfare shop to eat in our room. We then quickly showered, packed our belongings, and returned the key.

Arriving at the tourist service center at noon, I rushed to return the key and then hurried to get on the bus. The bus was very crowded, and we had to sit near the engine, which was a bit hot. However, I ended up sleeping all the way to the bus terminal. From there, I took a bus back to Bangkok. The trip was over.

This is the schedule for the bus departing from Erawan Waterfall to Kanchanaburi Bus Terminal.
