Whack-a-Crab! is a dinner buffet with a time slot of 6:00 PM - 10:30 PM, featuring the star of the show, the meaty blue crab, at The Square restaurant in the Novotel Bangkok Fenix Silom hotel. The seafood selection was extensive, featuring a wide variety of steamed crabs, including mud crabs and sea crabs, as well as squid, shrimp, shellfish, and much more. My personal favorite was the steamed crab, as the meat was firm and flavorful.
Next up is Thai food that caters to foreign tourists who stay at the hotel, such as fried chicken, papaya salad, crispy dumplings, and rice crackers.
The ready-to-eat dishes menu features a wide variety of options that rotate daily.

Seafood Delights: A Cold Culinary Journey
Let's embark on a culinary adventure to my favorite zone, where a symphony of fresh seafood awaits, served chilled to perfection. Dive into the succulent flavors of prawns, squid, and shellfish, each morsel a testament to the ocean's bounty.
The dipping sauce options include the familiar seafood sauce, which can be made into a spicy salad with fried shallots and chili paste, or you can squeeze lime juice according to your preference. Personally, I prefer lime juice as it does not overpower the flavor of the ingredients. It wouldn't be wrong to say that I devoured the oysters here, scooping them up again and again. Another popular corner is the sushi rice balls, as well as salmon, sea bass, and mackerel sashimi. Overall, it was good, but the sauce was a bit too salty.
On the other side, there is a zone for various salads with a wide selection of dressings.
Moving on to snacks, there is a wide variety of cakes and desserts to choose from, as well as fresh fruits.
However, my favorite sweet menu item is the custard cream bun, which is perfectly balanced in terms of both dough and custard cream.
Overall, the full price may seem a bit high, but if you use the promotion, it is reduced by half to around 750 baht, which is not expensive at all for this type of menu. Especially the steamed crab, which has firm, sweet meat.
