Hello everyone! Today I took my friends to the Narcissus Building to enjoy some delicious dim sum. The food was plentiful and flavorful, and the restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of Bangkok.

Hello! Today, we're going to speak in Chinese to celebrate our dim sum buffet at Sui Sian Restaurant, located at The Landmark Bangkok Hotel. The hotel is situated between Sukhumvit Soi 4 and Soi 6. For those driving, there is ample parking available in the building. Alternatively, the BTS Skytrain offers convenient access, with Nana station just a short walk from the hotel. Once you arrive, take the elevator to the 10th floor, where you'll find Sui Sian Restaurant. The restaurant's authentic Chinese decor perfectly complements its status as a Chinese restaurant.

The restaurant's interior features a red and black color scheme, with soft Chinese music playing in the background.

The spacious dining room can accommodate a large number of guests, making it ideal for groups of friends or large families.

Abundant seating options accommodate up to 180 guests.

This side can be closed off as a private zone for private parties, accommodating up to 80 guests. Whether you're coming in a small or large group, we're ready to serve you.

Enjoy a delightful dim sum experience for two, accompanied by the soothing melodies of Chinese music, creating a unique and charming ambiance. ^_^

For smaller groups, we offer private rooms that can accommodate 8-12 guests and have one table. For groups of 12-20 guests, we have rooms with two tables, making them ideal for large families or groups of friends.

Each table is adorned with decorative plants, such as bonsai, to enhance the visual appeal and create a refreshing ambiance during meals.

Chef Ming, the Executive Chinese Chef with over 25 years of experience, recommends these dishes. Given his expertise, they are sure to be delicious.

Chef Ming has extensive experience working in both 5-star hotels and renowned restaurants in China and Thailand. He specializes in Cantonese, Sichuan, and Shanxi cuisines. Today, we can expect to savor unique and innovative dishes unlike any other.

We came with a group of friends, a total of 4 people. So we chose a private room for our dim sum party at noon today. The table will be a round table. If you want to eat any menu, you don't have to reach too far. Just turn it around and it will come to you. Hehe.

All food can be ordered from the menu. You can order as much as you want as it is a buffet. The price for each day will be different, and we will provide more details later... Seeing the food makes my mouth water, it looks so delicious!

Cold towels for wiping hands and chopsticks are ready. Let's start tasting the dishes one by one.

The first steamer basket contained "shrimp dumplings" with soft dough wrapping whole shrimps, satisfyingly filling. I enjoyed them with the sour sauce, making it my favorite dish. This led me to order another basket, haha.

Next up was the "Scallop Har Gow," which was my first time trying it. It was surprisingly good! The scallop was firm and chewy, and the thin, soft dough was delicious.

The most familiar menu item is undoubtedly the **"steamed pork dumplings"**. The marinated pork is incredibly tender. I'm not exaggerating when I say that everything is delicious. The ingredients are of exceptional quality.

"Shrimp seaweed rolls" are an easy-to-eat menu item that is suitable for both children and adults.

A familiar and beloved menu item is the **"baozi"**, available with both red pork and cream fillings. The red pork filling is generous and incredibly delicious. The savory pork filling is perfectly seasoned and pairs wonderfully with a hot cup of tea.

"Normally, I enjoy eating vegetables, and when I came across this dish, I was delighted. The napa cabbage was already sweet, but then I discovered the bouncy shrimp, filling my mouth with flavor. I couldn't resist ordering more."

"Steamed pork ribs with fermented black beans" Just looking at it makes you want to eat it, right? The taste is good, the soft bones are crunchy, and the sauce is sweet and flavorful.

"Shrimp balls with Pak Sopphon" The shrimp balls are bite-sized and served with Pak Sopphon, which is similar to green lettuce.

"This dish features stuffed rice noodle rolls, available with either mixed fillings or叉烧 (chāshāo) roasted pork. The savory sauce is served on the side, allowing you to adjust the amount to your preference."

Notes:

  • I have translated "ก๋วยเตี๋ยวหลอด" as "stuffed rice noodle rolls" to provide a more descriptive and accurate understanding for the English reader.
  • I have used the pinyin transliteration "chāshāo" for 叉烧, as it is a more widely recognized term in English.
  • I have kept the informal and interactive tone of the original text, using phrases like "this dish features" and "allowing you to adjust the amount."
  • I have maintained the HTML structure of the original text.

"Golden Purse with Chinese Spinach" The dough used to wrap the filling resembles that of a har gow, but the inside is filled with Chinese spinach. After enjoying plenty of meat dishes, it's good to have some vegetables too, right?

When ordering in bulk, the staff can reheat your dinner for you. The staff here are lovely, provide excellent service, and are very polite. The next menu item, "Steamed Shrimp Dumplings," is served in bite-sized portions. The soft dough is best enjoyed hot with the accompanying sauce.

Next, let's talk about the fried dishes. The three dishes in the picture are spring rolls, fried chives, and fried taro. The fried taro has a filling of char siu pork, similar to the filling of char siu pork buns. It's delicious, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

"Deep-fried Tofu Skin Stuffed with Shrimp"

"Fried Radish Cake" I didn't get to try this dish. I was already too full by the end of the meal, so I let my friend finish it. Haha.

"Lotus Leaf Wrapped Rice" is a rare and special dish that I don't get to enjoy very often.

Next up is the special set menu. For the soup, each person can choose one option. The choices are Sichuan seafood soup, bamboo pith soup, and fish maw soup in red sauce. Since there were many of us today, we were able to try all of them.

The first dish is "Shark Fin Soup with Red Sauce". I'm sure everyone has tried it before. Thai people are very familiar with it. It tastes good. It's really flavorful and delicious without any seasoning.

"Bamboo Pith Soup"

This soup features crunchy bamboo pith and flavorful shiitake mushrooms. It has a light, delicate flavor, similar to a clear broth.

The last dish I highly recommend is the "Sichuan Seafood Soup." The first time I tried it, it was similar to fish maw soup, but the ingredients were replaced with seafood instead. The taste is richer. This bowl is delicious, amazing!

Set 2 is Rice & Noodle, with one dish per person. Choose from the following rice and noodle dishes: Fluffy Vegetarian Fried Rice, Szechuan Roasted Duck Noodles, and Stir-fried Seafood Noodles with Wide Rice Noodles.

"Sichuan Roasted Duck Noodles" Thin noodles served with tender roasted duck. The taste is unique and delicious.

"Stir-fried Rice with Crispy Duck"

The name alone is intriguing, making you wonder what it's all about. This dish is delicious because of the roasted duck, which is served with hot stir-fried rice. It's a satisfying meal!

"Rad Na Talay with Thick Rice Noodles" A small bowl, but the quality is not small. The shrimp and squid are full of flavor and bite-sized.

The final set, Dessert, features a variety of sweet treats, including ginger-infused tapioca pearls, cantaloupe sago, and lychee in syrup.

"Ginger Ale Floating Lotus" The soft and smooth white flesh melts in your mouth. How soft can it be? The ginger ale tastes good and well-balanced, not too spicy.

"Sago cantaloupe" A sweet Thai dessert like sago with coconut milk is not enough. There is also cantaloupe in bite-sized pieces to eat with it. Add more refreshment by adding ice. This menu is delicious again...hehe. I can't stop eating it.

"Rambutan in syrup" is what I initially mistook for longan. The three dishes all look delicious, with the rambutan being particularly large.

This is our first time trying dim sum buffet. We never thought we would try a buffet before, as Thai people are familiar with dim sum dishes like dumplings and steamed buns, which are readily available. However, after trying it here, our minds have completely changed. We can confidently say that this is a premium dim sum experience. We got to try dishes we've never had before. It's perfect for any occasion, whether you're with family or friends. The food is excellent, and the staff is impeccable. They are friendly, polite, and very attentive. We might sound biased, but you won't believe it until you try it yourself!
