Once again, I had the opportunity to enjoy delicious seafood and I wanted to share this experience with everyone.
Awaltale, a seafood restaurant located on the ground floor of The Color Living Hotel on Theparak Road, Km 4.5.
The seafood menu here is so tempting, I'm having trouble deciding what to order.
The meal culminated in a selection of 5 dishes that were met with unanimous approval from all members of the table.
The restaurant's signature dish, as recommended by the staff, is the Stir-fried Seafood with Creamy Shrimp Sauce (499 THB). This dish features the restaurant's special sauce, which has a fragrant aroma of herbs infused in the sauce. The fresh squid, crab, mussels, and shrimp are tossed in the sauce, making for a delicious meal. The sauce can also be enjoyed with rice.
Stir-fried Crab with Curry Powder 380- Large blue crab with big claws and firm meat, stir-fried with fragrant curry powder (not too strong). The claws are cracked for easy eating. Delicious enough to make you want to order more.
Spicy Stir-Fried Cockles (190 THB)
This dish delivers a satisfyingly spicy punch, with the flavors permeating deep into the tender cockles. The stir-fry expertly captures the essence of "pad cha," offering a fiery experience that stays true to its traditional roots.
The seafood feast is not enough, there is also a 280-baht hot pot of Yen Ta Fo, served with crispy wontons. This Yen Ta Fo is well-seasoned and easy to eat.
To conclude, the German pork knuckle (390 baht) is a must-try. Although it is a seafood restaurant, this dish is also available. The skin is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the meat falls off the bone easily.
Today's table drinks are freshly squeezed pineapple and kiwi juice, which pair well with seafood.
Today, we enjoyed 5 delicious dishes that left everyone feeling satisfied. The food was fresh, the flavors were excellent, and the service was top-notch. We highly recommend Awan Talay for a memorable dining experience.
