The Monastery of Wat Simamalai Songtham

This monastery features caves where monks can meditate and the public can practice Dhamma. Inside the caves, numerous Buddha statues are present. The walls are adorned with bas-reliefs and high-reliefs, primarily depicting Buddha figures.

Atop the mountain stands a majestic octagonal Chinese-style building, offering breathtaking panoramic views.

The temple is beautiful, but the inside of the cave is very scary. There are many sacred objects, including statues of lions, tigers, nagas, and snakes. At the mouth of the cave, there is a human skeleton. I was trembling with fear. This is my second time visiting this temple. It is quiet and peaceful, but I haven't seen a single monk. Every time I come here, I get goosebumps. You should try visiting it yourself.
