Bang Krachao One Day Trip: A Cool Getaway

Many people may have heard the name Bang Krachao for a long time, but have never been there. It is recommended to plan a trip there. In fact, this place is like an oasis and the largest lung in Bangkok. It still maintains the condition of the forest park and green areas along the river very well.

Bang Krachao is located in Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan Province. It is easily accessible by crossing the Bhumibol Bridge and exiting at Suk Sawat Road. Alternatively, you can take a ferry from Wat Bang Na temple. This "lung of Bangkok" is mainly visited for health and leisure purposes, such as cycling, taking artistic photos, enjoying coffee, observing local life, and shopping at the floating market.

Must-try activities include:

>> Visiting Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market

>> Cycle along the path around the community forest park.

Breathe in the fresh air and feed the fish at Si Nakhon Park, Khan Khan Dam.

Grab a Coffee and Snap Chic Photos at Bangkok Tree House

There are many other places to visit and check in, such as the Fighting Fish Museum, the Incense House, and many more. Try making a one-day travel plan and you're guaranteed to have every flavor of relaxation. Follow us to see...

It is recommended to visit the Bang Nam Phueng Floating Market in the morning for shopping and food.

Did you come across any childhood toys that bring back memories? ^^

There are many handmade souvenirs.

A wide variety of savory and sweet dishes are available.

This is delicious. I really like it. It's called "กุ้งเหยียด" (shrimp stretched). It's sweet and chewy.

A creative take on Thai crispy pancake, resembling a pizza. Delicious!

The restaurant zone has many different areas. If you come here and don't feel full, it's like you haven't really been here.

After you're full, stop by to feed the goldfish milk. They'll suck it up!

There are many zones to explore, ensuring a diverse and engaging experience. The variety of goods available is extensive, catering to a wide range of interests.

They can't stop eating even when they're walking around.

As a child, who has played with this? This should be called "rerai" or "cricket", right?

In the afternoon, I left the market and headed to Wat Bang Nam Phueng Nok.

A hidden riverside restaurant can be found just 400 meters from Wat Bang Nam Phueng Nok.

This establishment serves as both a hotel and a restaurant, boasting a natural design that seamlessly blends with the surrounding environment of Bang Krachao.

There are many cool and stylish photo spots.

This design is pleasing to the heart.

You can sit down and eat by the water. There's a table over there.

Another must-capture angle.

Relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful coffee shop decorated with a clear glass room, comfortable for the eyes.

A wall of flowers where almost everyone has to stand and pose for artistic photos.

Another unmissable activity is renting a bicycle and riding around the park all day. The small paths in the forest are very shady.

In the evening, I recommend riding around the Sri Nakhon Khuan Khan Park. It's a lot of fun, I must say.

In the late afternoon, the park is filled with people jogging and relaxing, taking a break from their busy lives to rejuvenate their bodies and minds.

Enjoy feeding the fish and relaxing in every corner of the Srinakorn Dam Park.

Bang Krachao is considered the largest green area in Bangkok, preserved for everyone to enjoy to the fullest. It is like an oasis or a lung that helps us still have some good air.

If you have free time on Saturdays and Sundays and don't want to go far, we recommend visiting Bang Krachao. You will then realize that there is still nature in Bangkok for us to enjoy. Easy! ^^
