The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the "Khanom Jeen Mae Thawi" restaurant, where a plate of "Khanom Jeen" (rice noodles) costs only 10 baht!!! Free fresh vegetables and a spicy, authentic Southern Thai flavor that will leave you wanting more. I couldn't resist ordering a second helping, and the total cost for the meal was just 20 baht per person. This small eatery was packed with cars, a sure sign of its deliciousness. The atmosphere was homey, and the service was friendly. We ordered yellow curry with young bamboo shoots, turmeric-fried catfish, and minced pork omelet, all served with steaming fragrant rice. The meal was absolutely delicious and incredibly satisfying.
