Garden Seaview Resort

While Bang Saen, Pattaya, and Wong Amat are often the first beaches that come to mind when visiting Chonburi, the equally beautiful and secluded Na Kluea beach often goes unnoticed. Today, we have the opportunity to stay at the Garden Seaview Resort, conveniently located near the Na Kluea market.

Hotel lobby and part of the dining room

The Garden Seaview Resort is a large hotel with a long history. However, it is well-maintained and regularly renovated. The room we will be staying in today, the Grand Chalet, is one such example of a recently renovated room.

Small beverage corners in the hotel's dining room and lobby.

Large swimming pool within the hotel, located by the beach.

Upon checking in and receiving your room key, you must walk down to the beach and the hotel's swimming pool area. The phrase "walk down" is used because the lobby and main building of the hotel are situated on a hill overlooking the beach, giving it a majestic appearance.

The swimming pool is vast, almost resembling an "artificial sea," making it a popular attraction for hotel guests and children from around the world (accompanied by their parents). Rocks are strategically placed to create a rocky beach and a waterfall, with distinct sections for children and adults. Beach chairs and colorful beach umbrellas are available for guests to relax by the pool.

A young girl enjoys playing in the water.

Below the large swimming pool is a beach. Although the sand is not white, it is clean. The beautiful blue sea waves around. Looking to the right, you will see the view of the "Sanctuary of Truth" standing on the other side of the cape.

The Sanctuary of Truth is visible from the front of the hotel.

On the right side of the beach, part of the hotel is a promontory with a large octagonal pavilion. This is where the hotel's "ancient massage service" is located.

Beachfront and Beach Activities

This phrase describes the area in front of a hotel that borders a beach, as well as the various activities that can be enjoyed on the beach.

The expansive garden we see before us offers a remarkable oasis of tranquility amidst the bustling economic landscape. It's astonishing to find such a vast green space, a veritable "lung" of the city, in an area where beachfront land is more valuable than gold. Facing the sea, the garden boasts an artificial rock beach, perfect for leisurely strolls, enjoying the fresh breeze, or witnessing the breathtaking sunrise.

Jacuzzi

We walked through the beautiful and shady garden to the accommodation area. It is clear that the hotel has arranged the accommodation separately, without disturbing the beauty and tranquility of the beachfront garden. Our Grand Chalet room is a detached bungalow located near another "jacuzzi pool" within the resort. This pool is open for 24 hours, unlike the main pool, which closes at 7:00 p.m. for the safety of guests.

Grand Chalet Room

Note: I have translated the phrase "ห้องพักแบบ แกรนด์ ชาเล่ย์" to "Grand Chalet Room". I have kept the HTML structure intact and have not included any markdown.

The Grand Chalet room we stayed in was so spacious that we hesitated to call it a "room"; "house" seemed more appropriate. Even with only one king-size bed, the room felt incredibly expansive, easily accommodating another bed. The room was cleverly divided by a split-level floor, with the sofa area situated below and the bed above, creating a visually pleasing separation without the need for bulky screens or partitions.

Amenities in the room

The room is rectangular in shape, with a desk for working at the far end. A large mirror is placed on the desk, making it a comfortable space for working or applying makeup. On the right-hand side, there is a built-in wardrobe containing coats, towels, outdoor slippers, and a large umbrella for guest use.

A large single bed that is both thick and soft, providing a comfortable sleep.

The room is decorated in gray and white tones. The ceiling is covered with wooden planks laid in a herringbone pattern, reminiscent of a ship's hull. The furniture, such as the bedside tables and lamps, is designed to resemble maritime furniture. The white and gray tones, especially the long curtains inside the room, make the space appear bright, classic, simple, yet luxurious.

Sofa and living room components

The bathroom is divided into three sections: the shower area on the left, equipped with a comfortable seat for showering or sitting; the central sink area for washing hands and face; and the toilet area on the right. Each section is separated to prevent any overlap.

The front of the room features a spacious balcony, offering a view through large glass windows adorned with long curtains that can be opened or closed as desired. The balcony boasts a beautifully arranged row of potted plants, adding a touch of greenery to the space.

This post provides a glimpse into the hotel's breakfast buffet, deluxe rooms, beautiful gardens, and the revered shrine frequented by sailors seeking blessings before embarking on their journeys. Additionally, it mentions a monument dedicated to the hotel's landowner. A more detailed account of these features will be provided in a subsequent post. We extend our gratitude to all who have visited.
