Pannaburi, located in Khao Yai, offers a unique experience without air conditioning, television, or refrigerators. Instead, it provides the tranquility of streams, the sound of water, and the lush greenery of nature.

Pannaburi, also known as Little Pai, is an affordable accommodation option that allows city dwellers like us to fully immerse ourselves in nature.

This trip was inspired by the overwhelming fatigue of work. I longed for a retreat into the forest to heal my mind and spirit, but I didn't want to rough it in a tent like previous trips. I desired a comfortable night's sleep. After researching and reading reviews, I stumbled upon Pannaburi. Its location in Khao Yai, just a few hours' drive from Bangkok, made it an ideal choice.

Stepping out of the car, I felt no heat from the sun, as the area was completely covered by trees, creating a truly shady and refreshing atmosphere.

We booked the accommodation through the resort's LINE account. We reserved the LAO HUT 7 room for 1200 baht. This price was due to the long holiday weekend during our visit. The room was a mud-brick and wood structure with an ensuite bathroom and a balcony overlooking a stream, providing a relaxing space to sit and unwind. It was a fan room with no TV and did not include breakfast. We visited in March, and despite the lack of air conditioning, the weather was cold. The air was so cool that we didn't even think about needing air conditioning.

Each house has a pavilion by the water for relaxation. You can bring food to eat at the pavilion, or you can have a barbecue there.

This will be a detached house. The characteristics of the house and the price will vary.

The INDIA house does not have a stream running through it, but it does have a pavilion by the water behind the house where you can sit and play or cook in the evening.

This large house is likely the owner's residence. It has been constructed to provide ample shade.

As we explored the area surrounding our accommodation, we stumbled upon a small dam, the source of the waterfall's sound that echoed throughout the property. Here, we were offered the opportunity to enjoy a fun paddle boat ride. Life jackets were available for those who were not comfortable swimming.

Dip your feet in the water and feel the refreshing coolness.

Without delay, I stepped into the paddle boat and set off down the stream that flowed through the resort, drifting along until I was content.

Paddling along, you will pass various houses along the riverbank, each offering a unique charm.

This is the house where we stayed. The view from the boat shows a truly peaceful natural environment.

We had a delicious barbecue dinner. The staff kindly offered to purchase the ingredients for us, and the restaurant is conveniently located near Pannaburi. The prices are reasonable, and the food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
