This trip was an unexpected bonus during a business trip to Chiang Mai. The journey begins from the heart of Chiang Mai city.

…From the city center, follow the GPS along the Chiang Mai-Mae Rim-Mae Taeng route, continuing towards Chiang Dao. Turn left at the Mae Ta Man Elephant Camp sign. After approximately 10 kilometers, turn right at the sign for Ban Tung Lakorn. Continue for another 3 kilometers, and you will find our forest haven on the right-hand side. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. The road is not steep or challenging, with a regular asphalt surface. However, it is quite narrow.

"Tharaklom House" offers four types of accommodation: wooden houses by the river, riverside tents, large houses for groups, and bamboo tunnel houses.

We chose to stay in the "Krachom Piang Nam" tonight, which has a private bathroom (no air conditioning). But rest assured, even during the hot season, you won't need to turn on the fan.

Each house is located next to a stream, which is amazing. You can fall asleep listening to the sound of the water flowing, it's like it's raining all night. 555++

No worries about food and drinks, everything is available here. All the food is delicious.

Some of the vegetables used in the dishes here are grown in this very plot.

When will the OP be able to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and return to the embrace of nature like this? I'm starting to miss the countryside a little.

Tonight's highlight: "Mookrata" (Thai BBQ). The homemade dipping sauce is amazing! Two people, 2 sets, and I'm stuffed!

I almost couldn't sleep, haha!

Today we say goodbye, but only for now… There are still many trips that I have forgotten to write about, haha.
