River Tales: Camping by the River at Kaeng Krachan

July 13-14, 2018

Despite the difficulty in securing a reservation due to high demand, the allure of "River Tales," a riverside campsite in Kaeng Krachan National Park, proved irresistible. For those seeking a unique and stylish camping experience, this is a must-visit destination.

Greetings, social media friends... This rainy season trip, despite the "difficulty" in booking accommodation, which was heavily booked, only increased my desire to go even more. I had to sacrifice a day of vacation leave to get the earliest possible check-in. 555++

(Due to the fact that weekend and holiday accommodations are fully booked until the end of the year, I will not tolerate it.)

Day 1: Departing from Bangkok at 9:00 AM by private car, we reached Kaeng Krachan National Park after a leisurely 3-hour drive, arriving around noon. We stopped for a delicious lunch and some photos at "Wirote Kaeng Krachan Restaurant," which I highly recommend for its excellent food.

With a satisfied stomach, we can now check in to our accommodation. The accommodation we chose for this trip is...

"River Tales: A Riverside Camping Site in Kaeng Krachan" https://www.rivertalesth.com/

Although the name suggests a camping ground, the site already provides large yurt tents for our convenience. However, we were afraid that it wouldn't be chic enough and wouldn't be close enough to nature, so we opted for the "Riverside Bamboo Raft" accommodation. Isn't that chic enough for you? 555++

"The Riverfront Terrace" is a riverside terrace with the Phetchaburi River flowing in front. There is a natural pool in front for soaking or for children to play in.

Continuing to capture images around the accommodation.

A few photos of the glamping accommodation, which is great and has an ensuite bathroom.

Floating on the crystal-clear water, feeling the cool current against my face in front of my accommodation... In the evening, a sizzling hot pot - pure bliss! P.S. The picture might be a bit burnt, the fire was too strong and I couldn't capture it in time. 555++ Eat, repeat, go!

Ending with a picture of breakfast, including delicious rice porridge.

Overall, the natural atmosphere is amazing, making it perfect for a return visit. The accommodation is well-organized. However, the shared bathroom is a bit far away, which is a minor inconvenience.
