Vang Bon Reservoir: A Tranquil Escape in Nakhon Nayok

Nestled in the serene embrace of Pak Phli district, Nakhon Nayok province, lies the tranquil Vang Bon Reservoir. This hidden gem offers a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of city life, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the tranquility of nature.

The reservoir's serene ambiance is enhanced by its secluded location, attracting a limited number of visitors. This peaceful setting provides the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. Whether seeking a quiet retreat for contemplation or a leisurely afternoon amidst the beauty of nature, Vang Bon Reservoir caters to diverse preferences.

For those seeking an extended stay, the reservoir offers designated camping areas along the water's edge. These campsites provide a unique opportunity to commune with nature, allowing visitors to awaken to the gentle sounds of birdsong and the mesmerizing sight of the rising sun over the water.

Vang Bon Reservoir stands as a testament to the harmonious coexistence of human activity and natural preservation. Its serene environment fosters a sense of tranquility, while the availability of camping facilities allows for deeper immersion in the wonders of nature. As a destination for both relaxation and adventure, Vang Bon Reservoir offers a unique and unforgettable experience for all who seek its embrace.

Alternatively, if you'd like to enjoy a leisurely paddle, boat rentals are available for 50 baht per person, with unlimited rental time.

Across from the reservoir, there is a small waterfall. You can paddle across to take cool photos, but when we went there was no water because it was the dry season. And besides, paddling across the reservoir was exhausting...

If you want to see it, go when it rains a lot. And importantly, there are a lot of birds. I like to paddle slowly and watch the water birds (not sure what kind of birds they are) .....

If you get hungry, there are local vendors selling food at the top. The food is decent and affordable. The lack of excessive shops helps preserve the natural beauty of the area.

If you're looking for a relaxing atmosphere, I recommend stopping by. You can explore downtown Nakhon Nayok first, and then come here in the evening. Let me tell you, the atmosphere is amazing.
